Hope everyone is well and doing good and big. Its been awhile since i've been here. Had a few setbacks the last few month's and stuff not going to good. But been pushing threw the hardships and getting back on track nicely. Had DJ in my corner the last two month's again and things are looking promising. Enough soppy stories, let's get down to business.
We've been prepping for my first show now for the last 5 weeks already and still going strong, had a few upsets here and there but nothing major to stop progress or results. The show we're aiming for is 14 April which gives me another 7 weeks to get there. Which i think is adequate time to get shredded.
The pic was taken last weekend. So that's me roughly to date.
So yeah, here's to my first comp

Weight: 78kg
Bodyfat %: Unknown (rough estimate of 11%)
Diet:
Ok so last week i had no weight loss, DJ adjusted my diet and drop cals abit. Last week i did miss 2 cardio session tho due car problems. Im hungry all the time as my meals only keep me full or satisfied for a hour at the most. Cravings so far are'nt bad and im finding it easy to stick to my meals. Have been dieting strict for almost 6-7 weeks now with no cheat meals.
Training:
Energy while training is abit lower then normal and strength has gone down aswell. Weird thing i've noticed on sum days i get this explosion of energy and strength but it doesn't last long tho, say first 20min of the workout.
Mood:
My mood is still alright at the moment, 80% im in a fairly good mood but do get irratted easily.
Overall im happy with how things are progressing and coming along.
I'll be doin picture updates 6 weeks out, 3 weeks out and 1 week out and then contest day.

I have the exact same thing. About the hunger, get yourself some HCA by Solal it is a great appetite suppressant and also assists in better utilisation of carbs.

Weight: 77.5kg
Bodyfat%: unknown
Diet:
Diet is still going strong, sticking to it 110%. A few changes have been made again which make me very happy (less eggs
Training:
Still the same no changes in strength.
Mood:
I have to admit my mood is getting abit worse. I find myself snapping at small things and getting irritated very quickly.
Sleep:
My sleep pattern is not good as i find it hard to fall asleep and waking up alot.
Setback:
I had one setback last week thursday/friday. I fell very ill to a stomach bug which stopped me from eating properly and no training.
Other things noted:
1. Hair growing like a mofo.
2. Increase in acne
3. Vascularity increasing more (and by genetics im not very vascular)
4. Painfull pumps/cramps in forearms. The muscle right next to the bone. Like shinsplints.
Wanted to post pics but can't as my pc decided to blow on sunday. Will try and make a plan in this week on coming weekend.

my fiance spoke to the chairlady (Leoni Canadas) of the Gauteng Central events today, and according to Leoni all Gauteng Central events have been cancalled. All competitors wo wanted to enter Gauteng Central shows, now have to enter Gauteng North shows. you can go on to the Muscle Evolution website to get Leoni's number, you can then give her a call to double check. According to Leoni the info regarding the Gauteng Central events on Muscle Evolution is incorrect. but please just double check this.

I've got the atmost faith in DJ to get me ready, is other factors thats halting or slowing my progress. I had a setback on monday. Going to the doc today to asses. Will make my choice after what he says today.SLEON wrote: I also considered going to natal , but spoke to dj and he said i will be ready by the 7th , and i am very sure he will have you ready aswell bud , because my body is changing big time week by week , so i am going to do the gauteng north novice . But i am sure you will be ready for that bro , you in better shape than i am
But im competing, come rain, high water, blizzard, tornado's or armageddon. Nothing is stopping me!
