Muscleaddict wrote: Rhino bud what were you quoted for that surgery on your neck before you called it off?
Can't remember Bud, it was covered by medical air. The disc Replacment op was covered it was the MRI's that I had to fork out for and they were about 8k a pop.
Why are you having issues?

I have a L5-S1 disk herniation and the disk is pushing on the nerve so I have referred pain in my calf and glute that comes and goes. I thought it would heal with time but it's now almost 5 months and it's still hurting. I have my doubts about Discovery covering an op so was just wondering what the worst case scenario is. I have heard of some micro disk surgeries over R200k  . I will give it some more time to heal though. Sorry for the hijack.

This despite the fact that he could afford to lose 40kgs and the weight loss would have probably solved the issue.

I'm with Discovery and it was fully covered. Just get your surgeon to give you the proper authorization number to submit. The surgeons deal with the medical aids all the time and no how to get authorization.

I would. Add a different oral in here and there 6 weeks on 6 weeks off and by the time December comes you will look pretty damm pomp'able'.
but then i will take a full year off.

Fasted at 7am. Don't do the finger prick test it's inaccurate, rather go for bloods.

In my humble opinion, I would rather steer clear of the Orals, the overall benefit when not competing vs strain on system is not worth it as the gains are very temporary. If competing by all means, my offseason this year for instance Ive used no orals, my gains have still been progressive without the unnecessary strain on my kidneys and liver.
Naturally it boils down to personal preference as well as your overall view on longevity etc, compound specific as well, example Anavar may be a better choice if you do decide to throw the orals in.

I'll stick to the Primo/test as I'm mainly looking to maintain my physique for the summer.

Just a quick update, I've been carb cycling for a while and am currently 97.5kg @ 7.3% BF wich I'm happy with so I'll carry on cutting for the next 2 weeks but then up the cals to maintenance or just over.
I've been on 400mg Primo/250 test for the last month and plan on running things as are till the end of the year
