If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

Overhead squats on top of the ball? That's gonna be a challenge.
Could you give some more examples of other good core exercises that you used to do for your training. I am more interested in core exercises these days than normal crunches and all the usual ab exercises.
Anybody know about a good book on Pilates, preferably an eBook?
Any tips on how to activate your TVA?

haha jip! i've never done it on a full gym ball (saw a guy broke his ankle...) but you obviously start on the floor, moving to half a ball, then turning it upside down (so the curved part is on the floor) and then taking dumbells instead of the bar. also, after mastering it with the barbell, take off the weight only on the one side so the barbell is unbalanced and then try it...
another great inner core streght exercise are types of good-mornings. all you do differently is take much lighter weight, put feet very wide apart and go down as far as you can (while bending knees slightly) and, most importantly, pulling in your stomach as much as possible. when get to the bottm, use your glutes to thrust your pelvis forward while contracting your stomach as hard as you can untill upright. it sounds weird and stupid but it kills you!
also give this one a try but BE CAREFULL TO DO IT PROPERLY AS YOU CAN HURT YOURSELF!
and even if you dont feel it work that bad watch out... the next day... EINA FFFF*K! its from crossfit, these guys are insane!
sorry i dont really have much knowledge on pilates etc, only these weightlifting and powerlifting stuff. but believe me they work!
hope it helps!

Ja I do my squats on the big blow up fitness balls. I do those sit ups in the video holding a 10kg plate behind my head. They are hard. Do 3 sets of 8 reps. They are not for beginners I must say.
