Funniest shit you've seen in a gym

Or you will get some idiot doing tricep push downs on the cable cross over machine when there are actual machines for this movement that are available now i want to do cable cross overs for chest but some prick is using the one side for triceps. One day im going to tune these little shits to get out of my way and go do it on the correct machine and if they give me lip im going to give them a beat down.

The movement on that machine is just so much better - so i use it sometimes. The normal machines are sometimes full, you start on the cable cross-over and the others become free. Do you just stop?

Many times that is the only free bar available since most people dont train legs.
If you need to do drop sets or your partner uses a different weight you need more than one straight bar. What to do?

i agree with jack,i see so many guys who have hot heads and walk around like gym is a fashion show,we have a very big guy in our gym,6ft 7, about 145kgs,very solid guy,debt collector...the one day a guy was shouting his mouth off,throwing weights around,he went up to him and tuned him " first off if u cant do a proper full rep put the weights down,and if u throw these weights on the ground once more i will throw u on the ground" that oke felt like such a tit and i have never seen him back at our gym...

I must be honest, with my iPod blasting, I'm in my own world when I train. I rarely hear/see guys mouthing off, being hot headed etc... The tossing of weights around does irk me though, but I've been training so long I'm used to it...

There's this one guy who's slightly smaller than me but for some reason always tries to compete with me rather than minding his own business. I had just finished doing rows on a machine and was standing next to it when he started doing his set with the weight I was doing and this guy let his ego get in the way when everyone could see he couldn't handle the weight, he's a turd in my eyes. Walking around with ILS and all

if you can convince management at my gym to buy one of those tricep machines then i will stop using the cables for pushdowns

Wow, a gym without a tri-push down machine? I often, out of choice, use the Lat pulldown machine. We have 4 of each so i will only hit the cable cross-overs if all of them are taken. Unless its a light weight, high intensity day and the two of us use the cables together. But then again there is 2 of those as well.

The funniest shit i've ever seen in the gym was me: This happened about two years ago while on PCT so I felt pretty weak. I was doing dumbbell pullovers and when I wanted to put the weight down next to my head on the bench, for some unknown reason I lost my balance and literally fell to my left off the becnh with a 40kg dumbbell. You could only imagine the sight of a guy looking like a venter trailer following a dumbbell to the ground. Luckily I was fairly big at that stage so I could see everybody wanted to hose themselves but they kept it to themselves. I pick up my stuff and myself and went home.

Hey guys i understand if the tricep cable machines are busy then the next best thing to use is the cable cross over machine but what pisses me of is when the machines are available but some idiot still decides to use the cable cross over machine. That gets my blood boiling. @ dj this big guy who you speak of is this Jack by any chance?
