Protein Oat Muffins (low fat and sugar free)
These are really yum, I just made up the recipe tonight but they taste really good.
75g oats
2 large eggs
2 med pears
1t baking powder
1t bicarbonate of soda
1t caramel essence
12 canderel sticks
2/3 cup raw whey
Cinnamon to taste
Cube pears and boil on stove with a bit of water to soften it. Add to the oats with canderel, cinnamon and essence. Add water (enough to make thick oats) and microwave until cooked. Add whey, eggs, bicarb and baking powder, mix and bake at 180 deg Celcius for approx 20min.
Makes 12

Guys wondered if some of you feel the same as me. If on keto it can get hard limiting to the clean proteins. So i like tarts and like savoury snack i will eat buckets of the stuff.
Now a savoury tart for Keto it is trim, i tried it out tonight and not bad i must say.
So basically very easy get some of that silver tart pans, or any pan but just adjust the recipe accordingly.
3 eggs beaten
50 ml gouda cheese
200 ml water ( if not on keto use 250ml milk )
1 tsp english mustard powder
then spices like salt, pepper, parsley, oreganum ect.
Add any of the following according to your diet. chopped chicken fillet, lean mince, mushrooms, salmon or tuna.
Mix all together bake 180 degrees Celsius for about 45 min. And Eat.
Basically it gets you to mix some weird concoctions of proteins, works great as in between meals. and if your fat content is not enough add some olive oil and bam no more grilled Tjieken FIllet

Blend all together until a runny batter. Heat pan, use spray and cook. Pour batter and cook until bubbles start forming on the top, turnover and cook other side. Once cooked dribble a teaspoon of honey over and add some sliced bananna.
