Thanks RooiBull, yeah i also would not know what to do without your guys help!

@Furk, thanks for the reply and advice i appreciate it!

Ive got a few questions, hoping one of you experienced guys can answer

1. My gym workout this morning was full of energy, only did cardio but fast pace because it felt like i could go further, sweating like crazy as well - is this normal or am i doing something wrong? Because if feels like the flat feeling is gone?

2. I usually upon waking up go straight to the toilet to go do nr.2, but for the last two days i am struggling a bit and its very watery? Sorry for the unusual question but just wanted to check with you guys first?

3. Ive got some hydrolyzed beef amino acids, can i take them before workout?

Thanks Gents.

Doubt you are in keto yet, but not entirely impossible. Long fasts will speed up the process. Don't overthink it, you are still early.

Are you purposefully taking an laxatives? Artificial sweeteners? One occurrence does not constitute a pattern, you still have fibre and a lot of old food in your gut. It's disgusting to think about it, but it's a fact. On keto stool will be harder to pass than normal, colour could also be yellow at times. Usually we go for Psyllium husk as a fibre supplement. But I think you are worrying too much.

Christian wrote: 3. Ive got some hydrolyzed beef amino acids, can i take them before workout?

Scitec? For keto purposes, protein supplements alone, other than directly post-workout, can be problematic. In general not a problem at all, but protein can be insulinogenic. Whey is a good example, and looking at the beef aminos make-up, that is possible too. If you are dead-set on using them, use them post-workout with your whey (maybe adjust whey calories accordingly).

Hi Guys,

I seem very confused again.

I have been doing some reading and found that within the first few weeks of entering ketosis your body does break down body protein to make up for the los of glucose. So meaning breaking down muscle. Would this then not be beneficial to add a form of testosteron injections, and increase BCAA in order to hold onto muscle?

Is there no way of in corporating 2 carb meals when doing keto? I know this sounds contradicting to Keto but two carb meals pre and post workout? To atleasg fuel workouts and also to replenish glycogen in the muscle?

Sorry if i am confusing everything but i would really like to understand all aspects of how ones body changes etc.

This is a very interesting read www.valetudo.ru/redforum/attachments/9700d1317850791

How healthy: Relative. A better question is, how sustainable is this diet? How does it affect my current state of health? What long term side effects can I expect? How much gangas will I pull if I'm ripped?

Carb meals: No. You want to do Clinical Ketogenic Dieting. Stay away from carbs, they'll slow the process.

Protein catabolism: If you're using protein as fuel, your ratios are off. Eat more fat. If you randomly take BCAAs it'll throw off your Keto.

Weight unchanged: Eat less, move more.

Thanks Furk,

I still want to do more in depth reading and understanding about keto.

From the face it seems easy but i think and from what i can read, what happens to your body is very technical.

So my beef aminos are a no no?

And ive searched the threads i cannot get a definitive answer on the whole keto and gear and debate.

Will it not be beneficial to add test to the keto diet to retain some muscle?

And lastly, how has this diet effected your health Furk? And how sustainable has it been for you?

Cheers

Taking the aminos after workout is not a random time, like I said that'll work. Taking them as a mid evening snack could be problematic.

High fat tends to work for me. Saw good results with Keto, blood triglycerides were fantastic, cognitive function I can't remember because I wasn't doing an academic year, endurance was good.

With performance enhancers the general rule is: if a protocol (workout, diet, etc) works without PEDs, they'll show even better results with them. I'm keeping it broad on purpose. But you don't need steroids for keto to be effective.

Thanks Furk,

I appreciate your responses.

Sorry if its becoming a bit of a pain in ass, hope you dont mind.

Ill post my bloodwork that i had done about a month ago, did full blood count, test etc. my fasting insulin was very high and therefore my gp put me on 8 months glucophage at 500mg a day.

I really want to lose weight and feel better about myself, i use to look really good back in the day, made some stupid choices got fat etc etc.

Last year i went on some heavy compounds, GH, Cyt3 etc and oupa still said taking al those compounds and losing weight quickly is a bad idea and ill probably end up being fat again. And true i lost 10kg last year while being on all the compounds went down to coast, picked up everything again and back to square one. So yeah i am fed up of eating bad, not fitting into clothes and being fat so i want to make a change for good and keep the fat off.

ill post my revised diet again and wait for you guys to comment.

Thanks again

If you are worried about retaining muscle on Keto add Creatine bud. It worked for me I actually increased lean mass a little take at least 10g per day.

All my bloods also improved a lot while on Keto.
Natural Testosterone went up.
Cholesterol came down and the ratio HDL and LDL improved.
Blood glucose and Insulin resistance also improved.

Just be carefull it is super easy to over consume protein on Keto and you actually do not want to go over 1.5g per kg lean body mass. To preserve lean body mass you should not go under 1g per kg lean body mass.

When I look at your cholesterol values it tells me that you are not genetically prone to high cholesterol. You can pretty much eat anything and not worry about it. EXCEPT when on keto your cholesterol might drop too low, which will negatively affect testosterone production. Yes you need cholesterol to manufacture testosterone.

Throw the Creatine caps down with your post workout shake. But for optimal muscle saturation you want to spread out the 10g daily like 5g with breakfast and 5g post workout.

Just finish those you have then get a Micronised Monohydrate Powder

I don't agree you can take the 10mg at once no problem, and when you start with creatine you can forntload with 20-25mg.

Thanks Pyro, what would you recommend for this?

And also, is there anything that you would change on the above mentioned diet?

There is nothing you can do to raise your cholesterol unless you use carbs so sit tight for now and test your cholesterol after a couple of months. Unfortunately I don't comment on diets anymore but I will say that I don't like the two whey shakes you should replace them with whole foods or just eat more the previous meal.
