The egg whites in cartons are normally heat pasteurized to kill the salmonella. But yeah....don't eat raw egg whites

Many people buy Alzu 48's and do their 6 egg whites with their pre-workout shake. My response- Do you want to die? Cause that's how you Die!

Yeah. That can be deadly. I was specifically referring to the liquid eggs whites in cartons, like this, which you can gulp down as-is:

Most Coles supermarkets here in the land of Oz stock it ;)

Think Schmidt mentioned a similar product at Woolies on the previous page.

I contacted the guys at eezi eggs this week actually. I'm based in cape Town and they only distribute in KZN currently. The owner came back to me and confirmed: that they will be expanding to the Cape in the next two weeks. And that their pasteurization process is at a high enough temp to denature the avidin so you can drink it as is out the bottle with good bioavailability.

Furk thanks for your input my brother. Great to hear. I've replaced all the mill in my liquid diet with gero fat free yoghurt. As of this week I'll be removing all whey and adding in a meat and carb meal for dinner. So in total I have 5 liquid meals and one solid meal a day which brings me in at around 4500 calories.

For those that are interested I've lived off this liquid diet for 4 months consistently and my progress has been outstanding and constant. The convenience and high quality ingredients I use ensure I have a constant supply of the right nutrients and it's made a world of difference to my training.

Thanks for the cool feedback IronK :)

Have you had bloods done? It would be interesting to see what your cholesterol profile looks like. From your OP it seems you have ample fiber in the mix already.

IK I am with you on this. I just think Supplement Factory Egg White Powder works out a whole lot cheaper. But the question beggs can we trust it? As is I am also dropping all supplements except my SSN Muscle Vitamin Packs I can see a difference in performance and appearance if I drop it... Also going to be adding eggs and chicken and red meat with the money saved...

Been sitting consistently at 93 for some time now RB. At around 12%, all 6 abs visible. At 1.74m I'm not the tallest guy around so I'm feeling pretty solid at the moment. Goal weight is 100kg lean, off cycle. But that's going to take some time and I'm not really sure what my genetic limitations are yet so I don't know if it's feasible.

Regards to the egg white powder, that's exactly my concern. If I can't trust whey why would I trust the egg white supplement?

I still pay R1 an egg here in kzn....scared of salmonella, so mainly have boiled or scrambled eggs, my queston is whats the ideal temperature to heat up your egb whites too, so you kill the salmonella but still have a product you can actually swallow without throwing up?
