haha you come to the oddest conclusions...

Ya I would recommend just getting in 'shape' so to speak before you consider smashing a bulk. Anywhere from 8-12% is fine to start bulking, realistically 8% can be quite hard to reach so don't set your sites to high. (Low? :P )

This is a marathon, not a sprint, just focus on one thing you can't be big and shredded yesterday when you have only just started. Commitment is key. So stick to leaning out, get down to 12% then look at bulking.

To bulk now is the easy way out.

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

"You put the devil on the other side and I will come to fight." -Royce Gracie

Its legs day, legs day, gotta get down on legs day.

Alex, I take it you've ditched that 12 week program you started?

Not at all, I had to take 2 weeks off as I was sick as a dog, only started again yesterday, during that time, I've put on weight, the program it self has no guide lines on food or calories, only that you need fist size portions....

I found the only way it to weigh your food, my scale is honestly my best investment to date. Although if you are eating pretty much consistent food types you do get pretty good at guessing weight.

Last 5 weeks I have shaved 3.4% Bodyfat and picked up just over 2kg of lean muscle. Although the scale only shows a 1kg drop (crudest form of measurement)

Stick to the diet, enjoy and smash the gym and the progress will follow.
