Explosive Training help

For a long time I'd spend between 1,5 and 2 hours in the gym doing weights, when recently someone gave me a few routines to do which was totally explosive and found that it gave me a massive pump! and quite frankly only trained for an hour but it felt as if I done twice as much as before.... EG. for arms, I'd start with pull ups, then straight to arm curls, then straight to preacher curls without resting...and that's one set....I'd do 3 of those.... Then also for chest I'd do flat bench press then without resting move onto pull-overs without resting...the pump is amazing!
I was wondering if anyone has any of these sorts of routines? I'm cutting, currently on 11%bf wanna get below 9% in the next couple of weeks, diet's sorted by a sports nutritionist ex body builder, so it's sound...
Thanks guys

explosive training is when u accelerate 'explosively' in the positive movement
supersets are great yes
can be used efficiently especially when stagnating

just listen to your body and know how it reacts to different type of stimuli though workouts
play with reps, loads and volumes
always seek failure
bite your way through every exercise and dont rest much
ideally have a training partner to assist you

Always seek failure? I'm doing between 15 and 20 reps and if I reach 20 reps I go heavier...Would you recommend I stay on the same weight and max out?

anyways, bb: u need to find 'difficult' weights and play around with those
Once u have maxed out heavy reps, go straight to lighter weights and max out on there as well.
play aournd with your schedules, muscle has to burn and be 'unaccostumed' to what your doing, meaning you have to alter reps, loads and volumes.
if its not clear enough ill put up some examples

why would you use your weights workout to burn fat? What a load of kak if you answer to build muscle, the only way to build muscle is to do heavy sets (4-6 reps) only use compound movements...I suppose you guys would use cable cross overs to "build" your chest...what a load of crap.
Use your cardio and diet to lose body fat...period.
Ja no one said anything about not lifting heavy weight between 4 - 6reps...
And im not saying just use weights to lose fat...obviously cardio and a brillant diet plays a big part but so does lifting weight.

Cool thanks so much....

If you want to build muscle mass, then you should fail at rep 8,or maximum rep 10.Nothing higher.

Wow!! "Marius Dohne" Now that's what I'm talking about!! Nice one SNOK1986 I don't suppose he's burning any fat while doing that hey, lol....sorry I couldn't resist
Probably not...losing fat involves good diet and cardio as saizen mentioned....What happens when you train all the little muscle fibres in ur muscles actually teare and repair them selves at night when u sleeping(night time nutrition very important)... burning fat will come from this BUT its not gonna make u lose fat drastically...diet and cardio will...
Therefore get ur diet and cardio sorted...

How much cardio can I do? Would 2hours a day be over doing it?
