Maybe try those deadlift wrist straps that help improve your grip when going as heavy as possible? That'll protect your palms

Its Nike so probably enough to make you squint. I don't remember exactly but I think it was close to 300.

They're quite pricey for a piece of rubber. Over R200.

I've seen guys using what looks like a piece of tractor tube or something also... another option... maybe the less sophisticated version of the "nike" ones... lol

Part of my work is manual labour, that plus lifting knocks up my hands pretty badly. But it doesn't matter, I get tougher skin from not using gloves and pads, let the work and lifting do damage, but repair it with cream. Hands are still tough, but no lesions or tears. That way I can train my grip as well :)

Heavy hammer curls, Reverse grip (close) EZ bar curls, Wrist curls and reverse wrist curls (thumbs up) with a bar (wrists over the end of a bench). Also, Don't ditch straps altogether because when your grip fails on back day and ur backs still ready for more then u cutting urself short which means less gains. Use the straps when ur grip fails for extra growth and stimulation in ur back muscles. Also I feel using straps helps reduce biceps involvement when training back. P.S - the blisters on ur hands will turn hard if u keep training strapless for deads and pullups and u wnt even feel any pain in ur hands after a few weeks of back training. hands start feeling like a bricklayers tho :)

I would honestly ditch all the accessories. Whatever body part takes a "beating" is only temporary!
You should know this word very well by now - PATIENCE!!

NO Gloves - your hands will harden.
NO straps - your grip will improve AS YOUR FOREARM GETS STRONGER.
NO belt - your back and core will get stronger etc.

Most dumbbell workouts hammer your forearms. Almost your entire back workout kills your forearms.

I recently started using lifting straps ONLY to get the last 2-3 reps out when doing my back and I lose my grip. So my advice is that you use lifting straps only once your grip has failed. It takes 2 seconds to quickly wrap the strap around the bar and carry on.
(I have the Muscle Junkie Pro Grippers www.musclejunkie.co.za/products/accessor...Grippers/index.shtml )

Shut up and Squat!!
