Guys the best Whey is Whey Protein Isolate, I have been using ON for about 7 years now...best best protein around. You do not want a protein that contains any lactose or cassien, this is where you get the farts from. Our bodies dont absorb lactose (milk protein) at all and it just sits in your stomach/intestines doing nothing. Body cant absorb it, hence farts...

ON, is honestly the shizznizz...R700 a month for a 5 kg tub, it is the key to pre and post workout. The rest of the time solid food...I think we tend to place too much importance on "supplements"...GABA, ZMA, etc etc wont make that huge a difference.

Stick with a good protein, Solgar Vit C (1500mg tabs) V2000 Multi Vitamin, MSM powder and Milk Thistle...and TONS of water...you will be set to go...

the ON whey is actually a blend of isolate, concentrate and peptides.
the only pure isolate whey on the market is the SPS isopro, the weider whey (forgot the name) and intrapro from gaspari :)

And now LSJ's raw Isolate Protein!

Is the LSJ protein isolate? I was always under the impression it was the clover whey concentrate stuff. Don't beat me up, just asking :)

He sells whey concentrate and now isolate as well, hopefully on a continous basis, finishing my last bag of concentrate and then I'll be swapping. I so prefer the taste....

That's awesome, perhaps I should try it at some point before I get something with an exotic taste I don't like again. :)

don't wanna start an arguement but the hydrowhey is hydrolised whey protein.
a "pre digested" whey isolate if you will.
just means it's more refined, same as how isolate is more refined than concentrate.
by the way, isolate doesn't contain lactose either

You are right - Hydrowhey is a pre-digested Whey and yes - Isolate does not contain Lactose. (Concentrate got around 7% which is minicule IMHO)
