Whey and Multivitamin was created by Jupiter
I was wondering which whey protein and which multivitamin you would recommend? I know USN and Biogen are basically inferior products, but what is best and why?

I know many of you will probably say raw whey (basic supplements) but I am not really keen on that, I have been using SSN which actually tastes fantastic to me. :)

Whey Concentrate = Whey Concentrate. No brand's whey is different to any other. If you are just after taste then buy the flavour you want it in from any brand. Optimen and Solgar v2000 are good multivitamins.

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

Ja I know some add other ingredients (BCAA, Glutamine etc) to their stash, but to me whey is whey. I don't buy USN so I wouldn't be interested in what shit they put in. :P

Can't really say I enjoy the "exotic" SPS flavors, it was definitely a colossal mistake to get the Blueberry Blizzard, but now I have to finish it - that shit is expensive :silly:

lol I'm loving the mango :)
oh and sorry about this (please try to refrain from hunting me down) lol but USn's daily optimal is actually a pretty good multi.
it also has added efa's which the v2000 and optimen don't.
Just for the record though I'm not changing from optimen, best I've used just need to add you're EFA's

Jupiter's wife left him because of USN :laugh: :laugh:
Biogen = USN
USN = Biogen
If I was you I'd be careful using that product.........

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

On a more serious note, now really, please describe the difference you experienced between your previous multi and your current wonder product?

well for one I had no energy come 8-8:30 pm and was generally in the afternoons tired. Some days even driving home I would really feel like sleeping. fubared...maybe it wasn`t The vitamin or maybe it was a lack of them but whatever. Since I went back onto the Biogens I don’t fall asleep on the couch at 8:30. :laugh: Energy levels really seem higher. One factor is that I take 4 a day…two in the morning and two at about 3pm....

Why dont you rather take one four times a day, you will absorb the vitamins much better that way

i read somewhere that you can only absorb a certain amount at a time so I stagger it.(I stand corrected on this) I tried 4 at once a few times and peed out bright yellow for awhile which tells me I’m either dehydrated or peeing out vitamins, I drink a lot of water… so I just reverted back to twice a day.

I used to take 1 ON Optimen in the morning and was very tired in the late afternoon. This week I started taking 1 in the morning and 1 at lunchtime and now I battle to sleep at night.WTF ? Solal Gabatropin helped me to sleep at night, but I think I grew immune against it.

stress wakes me up some nights but I normally sleep well. Maybe you should cycle the Gaba to reduce the immunity you building up...

Yes that is true, you peed most of it out but then if you know this then 1 four times a day will benefit you more than 2 twice a day

Guys the best Whey is Whey Protein Isolate, I have been using ON for about 7 years now...best best protein around. You do not want a protein that contains any lactose or cassien, this is where you get the farts from. Our bodies dont absorb lactose (milk protein) at all and it just sits in your stomach/intestines doing nothing. Body cant absorb it, hence farts...

ON, is honestly the shizznizz...R700 a month for a 5 kg tub, it is the key to pre and post workout. The rest of the time solid food...I think we tend to place too much importance on "supplements"...GABA, ZMA, etc etc wont make that huge a difference.

Stick with a good protein, Solgar Vit C (1500mg tabs) V2000 Multi Vitamin, MSM powder and Milk Thistle...and TONS of water...you will be set to go...

the ON whey is actually a blend of isolate, concentrate and peptides.
the only pure isolate whey on the market is the SPS isopro, the weider whey (forgot the name) and intrapro from gaspari :)
