Yeah it is. Awesome gym that, especially for bodybuilding. Lots of competitive guys there and some good experience and knowledge available. So where you training instead?

Hey Spike

I train at the M&F in pinetown. The one behind knowels spar. I find it a really great place to train. You never wait too long for a piece of equipment. Also the people there are friendly and helpfull. Well for the most part anyway.

Myself and my fiance both go religously 5 days a week come rain or sun. :)

Last night they where giving away energy drinks and im on Keto diet now so its a no go. I took it and stuck it in the fridge... LOL.

Haha, when i got there all the energy drinks were finished. X35 energy drink, now read it upside down... talk about "subliminal" advertising :P

Well if you wanna talk cycles just come find me, im normally there from around 6pm... Thats me in my profile pic, tho im never normally that tanned :P look for the bald guy

Sneaky advertising LOL.

The concern is they give you the can then the minute I started hammering the 140kg seated calve raises they took my photo with the can sitting on the floor.

Wonder if they intent on using those photos for anything. Think they snapped up quiet a few people.

Like drink this and do this type of thing... Also last night some of the big boys where out so I think they got some good photos.

We had red bull come around giving us redbulls while training -

1 - they were extremely hot chicks so that put me off gym completely

2 - When they handed you the red bull it was opened already so you basically had to drink it.

3 - Did they want me to die i was tripping on so much caffeine already that my face was twitching in odd ways. lol

Yeah they where around a couple of months ago. They basically dished them out to everyone that evening... Well till they ran out anyway.

Well Spike there is one in my fridge if you keen.... Otherwise its gotta wait 2 weeks at least...

My GF does not drink this stuff...

Im there every day from about 17:25 onwards for around 1 hour... If gym is busy a little longer. I normally train most days in the bottom area unless im doing chest etc as when doing chect I have no gym partner and use the frame sometimes (In case)...

Dont look at the profile pic and try find meon that LOL... Not that big but intend to get there...

Im usually there with my Girl but we part ways and she comes to get advise etc every now and then. Lets see tell tale me... Yellow AXN300 Polar heart rate monitor makes me stand out ;-) its friggin huge.... LOL

Will see if I can find you there tonight... Will prob get there around 17:30 tonightand train till around 18h30ish.

No chance you where the guy I asked about head shaving?

Aaah I think I know exactly who you are. You where doing Rows last night. I was doing tricep pushdowns last night, with the extra 20kg plate pinned to the pushdown machine. Those things are def not heavy enough.

Now I know... Will say hi tonight...

Planet Fitness Rivonia definitely needs to get some better machines, it is so frustrating!!!... No machines for Hack Squats, the tricep push down machines are definitely not heavy enough, only one smith machine which is always dam busy, one of the bars in the pic below, and no equipment for hanging leg raises! :angry:
Wonder if VA would be better... mmm...

Hahaha Well Planet fitness is up to shit, I gym at Planent Fitness in Ruimsig, the place is kak, but reasons why it makes up for its defects are its close to home all the VA in the area are tooo busy and main reason People there are great, it is starting to get like a community very nice

Our gym's weight room is about as big as 15m x 6m (guessing). We have one Olympic barbell, 4 benches, 1 x Legg Press, 1 x Leg Extension, 1 x Leg Curl, 1 x Smith machine, 1 x Cable Row, 1 x Lat Pulldown, 1 x Cable Crossover and 1 x Pec-dec. Standing, seated and donkey calve raise machines and a couple of fixed weight barbells and a rack of dumbbells and some normal, ez bar, bars lying around. It's got all the basics I guess, but the thing is 800 people have to use everything plus most of the stuff came out of the eighties.

I decided to email PF after i did my post about the equipment at the gym... lets see if they respond.
But, you are right, i go there, as its close to work, and also, cause of Discovery Vitality... Its cheap :-) Although, i do know that Discovery also does VA, i dont feel like paying another joining fee...
