USN products

As there were some comments on usn in other threads I was just wondering what the general opinion on usn is on this broad here
My experiences:
a)claims on the labels are the most misleading compared to all other brands (e.g. iso pure = whey concentrate and soy protein)
b) take some bcaa’s on put it into water … normally leucin doesn’t dissolve in water usn bcaa does … really strange
c) did you know: usn and and biogen belong to Dischem. Every sales guy on the floor get a nice incentive, when selling these products, so you’ll never get a realistic information from these guys

so what’s your opinion ???

The only reason I used USN was that we got a very good discount on it. But recently it started to give me migraines, so I changed to WAR.

The L-glutamine and creatine I get is way better than the stuff they sell.
I also heard that they use fillers in there capsules, the caps are not filled with what they are supposed to be, only half, so I have decided to make my own from now on.....at least I know I am making the real thing.

I always thought USN made Biogen specifically for Dischem, does Dischem really own them?

Anyways, USN is utter rubbish......

I took some gabba from the normally u would get a tingling sensation when taking around 3-4 gr with USN NOTHING strange, very strange

when I was in varsity I took their whey/protein powder to a friend that worked the Bio-chem labs. Lets just say the label and his tests did not corrolate...AT ALL!

USN sells products??????

I use Evox , I bought 20kg Grow. But know I hear the stuff is packed in the same factory as USN/Biogen.

It could be that they simply outsource their packing to a contract packaging company.

SO ! Is evox owned by USN as well then???!?!?!

I am in the packaging industry and I have seen every type of product packed at a contract packaging company . Some products are the competing with each other.


As for USN/ Biogen . I rather eat dust..

I've also used Evox (still do) and must say that for the price I cannot complain, normally use their creatine - no probs. If they do get packaged in the same factory I don't think they are the same. (AT ALL)

Me personally i did ON, a bit pricey these days but still my favourite ... There are quite a few quality manufacturers out there just ask and we will share

I never get bored of USN bashing.. Seen they bash bullshit into newbies brains I love it when people reaslise what crap they sell...

Would love know if USN ever reads these forums , and what they say..

USN = Nestle, Nestle bought them about 4 years ago. Dischem is the sole distributor for biogen. Most sales people receive commision from sales, the term used is 'spiffs' and the guys from dischem do receive it. My girlfriend also did studies on EVOX, USN and Musclefuel back in her studying days. Musclefuel came out last with their product only being suited for animals, u heard me quality so low that it is not suitable for human use. Oh and USN was kak too.

So i take it that EVOX was OK?

Evox was big time bad 'bout 4 years ago. They have however pulled their strings together and they are now a fair brand. Their prices are good and their supps not bad either.
