That damn halfback had me with hands in my hair. He wil be better as a traffic cop directing traffic and he really caused the bulls to have slow ball giving the sharks ample time to set their defensive lines.
A lot of hard work lies ahead...
But I must say I was impressed by the sharks! The really deserved the win! Damn they got such quick ball and keegan daniel and co had a field day. Great supportive play and great ball handling when they offloaded to the support.
Well done sharks!

Its difficult or near impossible to make any predictions as although aus lost to samoa last wkend they will def be coming back with a bang and a lot to prove. On the other hand we don't know what to expect from the boks either....

History means nothing and the reds proved it in the final.. End of the day we playing uncapped guys and we playing a very different team, just due to that it could be interesting, then again .AU got destroyed last weekend by a side most people never take serious.
Lets wait for the results, but i'm eager to see this side in action.

On the bright side this gives the likes of Flip, Wynand and AD a chance to play themselves out of a world cup berth
Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

I was leading SuperBru in the last WC at one stage because i had Argentina as my Dark Horse.
The WC is in Samoa's back yard and they are eager boys.

Is there any corner where your wisdom does not reach JR? I'd love to also do the superbru thing but don't really understand the process like how to register etc and wil a blackberry be sufficient?

Just go to SuperBru.com - register and depending on the team you support you automatically get entered into that pool. You can then decide to start your own and invite all your buddies etc. Will be cool to have one for the forum!?!?
The instructions are hellova basic - pick the winning team and winning margin. You get points as listed.
BB - not full functionality but you can make picks and see results on the go.
Very cool site.

00pump wrote: I like the team in the last 30 minutes, when Lambie came on the whole backline started to come on fire, Deysel also brought something exciting to the game and Adi Jacobs.. Wish that was the starting team, we looked a whole different team..
Our defence was shocking, lets see what happens next week.. I'm not to worried about these Trinations as it it a time to play with numbers, and I think we saw the last 30 min we can control the game with the right key players in the right spots..
A bit dissapointed
Come on now 00pump. The Wallabies were 39-6 up and had thoroughly avenged last week's humiliation, they were done playing at the 55 minute mark. Even Chris Pollock decided to give us some calls so we wouldn't leave empty-handed. Biggest disappointment was Ashley Johnson, this was his chance but he showed he's just a poor man's Willem Alberts
The Wallabies weren't even that great upfront, we were just woeful. With the news that Bekker's out of the WC I fear for our lineouts if anything were to happen to Matfield. Just glad that Olivier has played his last game in a Bok jersey. I won't even mention John Smit...
Morne Steyn's back to his predictable best. I don't think he once ran the ball up to the line, just an array of telegraphed inside balls and pointless kicks down field. And don't get me started on his defence, powderpuff at best.
Anyone else had to google whether or not Stegmann was in fact playing today?

Do you honestly think Morne cant play any other way? I've seen him play a great running game.
I hope we see our arses at the WC. The sooner people start opening their eyes the better.
Now tell me again - why was PDV selected and not Heyneke Meyer?
Down the same hole as soccer we go!

But besides all that I feel we didn't do too bad considering its a "spoeg en plak" team. Especially the last 15min or so. After lambie and co came on there seemed to be more urgency amoungst the players. Pity mcleod didn't get a run as like I said pienaar is pathetic.
I was impressed with chilliboy and especially mvovo. To me he is the man of the match from a springbok point of view.
I'd like to see lambie and mcleod start next week with jacobs also replacing olivier.
It sounds like I'm a shark supporter but I'm a bull all the way. I don't expect a win next week, in fairness a hiding is more likely. Bigger than this one.
Lastly...the coaching staff.... Dick muir isn't called "dick" for nothing. Gary gold is more like foolsgold. And div is just div. I need not say more. Its no wonder the backline seem clueless as the coaching staff look more nacked than the players.
I'm optimistic when we have a full strength team. I have faith in those players but that's where it ends, at the players.

A lot of emotion is involved due to this being a world cup year. But like I have said numerous times before, the tri-nations is a minor this year. That's how I feel. I would suggest using the "A" players in the home leg of the competition for some game time and to "gel" a little. Just for some continuity before the world cup. By "A" side I mean the top guys.
I would prefer the AB's to win the tri-nations overwhelmingly easily. Just to boost their ego a little running into the WC. As we all know the AB's always stumble against the likes of France etc on this big stage and over confidence would be playing right into the hands of their opposition. On the flip side a confident AB side with home ground advantage could be pretty dangerous, but I think the pressure wil just be too much!
