So then you only start to moisturise on day four? I usually use Bepanthen but I find it difficult to apply on bigger tattoos as its quite thick and you tend to pull off some scabs in the process. I've been doing some reading on the net and they say the best is aqueous cream.Vega:
How heavy are the touch ups hey?? your tat is pretty large but touch ups wont be hectic its the scaling over a large area which causes the un-finished look.
So what i do for small areas is i keep the film on and don't let it get wet in the shower etc but i change the film after each gym session, GENTLY dry the area (dabbing with tissue works ok) and then re-aply new film. otherwise sweat build up will give you shit> but go ahead and start the cycle just look after the area;)
Peace
What do you think?
Yes i only start the moisture on day four, and nothing beats bepanthen, yea i know what you are saying with the thickness and this is where the aqueous cream comes in because you can mix the 2 however the aqueous cream alone has no real "healing" properties. but for touch ups just use the bepanthen and apply softly;) Nivea for men?? never heard of this, and its got like cologne (like smelly) in it so cant see how thats too good for the healing process>
