I've got mad crowns in my beard. So much so that I have waxed my neck. Was thinking this might be a less painful option. Guessing by chest is too hairy for this. Will have to wax it sooner or later.

Speaking of tattoos, I am thinking of having a word done in the length of my penis, font castellar and font size 20, italic bold. The word is HONORIFICABILITUDINITATIBUS and means honorableness.

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

With regards to the gym, its only for moisture reasons, like if you sweat under the plastic film or even when they take the film off it cause the tattoo to over scab and thus the final result is a less smooth less finished tattoo. Train but don't sweat, which I can't do so I just take the 7 days off!

Peace

Moose, in regards to touch ups. Do you apply the same protocol?

I want to start my cycle next week but I also want to go for my touch up to have my lines cleaned up.

How heavy are the touch ups hey?? your tat is pretty large but touch ups wont be hectic its the scabing over a large area which causes the un-finished look.
So what i do for small areas is i keep the film on and dont let it get wet in the shower etc but i change the film after each gym session, GENTLY dry the area (dabbing with tissue works ok) and then re-aply new film. otherwise sweat build up will give you shit> but go ahead and start the cycle just look after the area;)

Peace

Hey Gearedup:

I had half my sleeve done ( sat for 5 hours.... ouch) have to budget for another 4 hours there is allot of detail on it, but don't want to mess up my training schedule for the moment, so waiting a while longer... i also didn't scab which i find quite amazing as all my mates scabed.

So then you only start to moisturise on day four? I usually use Bepanthen but I find it difficult to apply on bigger tattoos as its quite thick and you tend to pull off some scabs in the process. I've been doing some reading on the net and they say the best is aqueous cream.

What do you think?

Howzit Guys....

I was instructed (and followed the instructions)

From day two (as soon as you replace the "Surgical Film") you Moisturize with Plain old Nivea for Men.

You don't want the scabs to peal, thus need to keep them wet and moist

hey Vega:

aqueous cream works as well, however i got a cream from my tattoo artist ( cant remember the name) that is the best i have used. they manufactured it themselves, it's easy to apply and i got no scabs, and moisturized my tat quite well so no restricted movements due to scabbing.
