Marius will rape the MMA game. His technique on the ground doesnt even need to be great to just own the best. He has brute strength and with that kind of power its very difficult to match with thechnique. Brook was being handled quite well by a much lighter and older randy and was getting pinned by randy into the cage constantly as well. So if Randy could do that imagine just what Marius will do when he grips the guy. Not all big guys are strong and certainly not as strong nearly as strong as Marius. Not a big fan of MMA but i will follow Marius he is a fuking legend when it comes to chucking big things around

I have checked the fight posted of this Marius guy and he does look the part. I think after he is polished he will be very, very effective. One more guy to ad to the ones I watch.

To everybody on this website, merry Christmas gentleman. Even to the less knowledgeable one's like Ultimate thug. I guess it like like the Bible says in Hosea: "My people perish for a lack of knowledge." Don't worry thug, God has always sent Profets (in this case me) to straighten things out. :woohoo:

No seriously I have learned so much about PCT and a good cycle that I am overjoyed at finding this site.

Enjoy the back rub guys, I dont do it often.

My Christmas gift to you all is my favourite fighter ever, a Kyokushin Champ that turned to K1, to show the world what Kyokushin was. He and Francisco Filho was the second wave, the first one was in 1969 when Masutatsu Ojama, answered the challenge from Muay Thai and sent four fighters to Thailand. It is well recorded they won three out of four fights.

Andy Hug died of Cancer a couple of year ago, but he was the first and only man ever to receive the, "spirit of the Samurai" award from the Japanese owner of K1, thus the legend of the, "blue eyed Samurai", was born. In Japan (the most knowledgeable fight nation on earth) Andy Hug is a legend.

This my friend is my favourite gracie knockout, of Royler himself. This fight was promoted in Japan as Karate's revenge. Look at how Genki Sudo does not stop punching. He is usually a very calm guy, but he hated Royler for years of speaking shit about all striking arts, not just Karate.

ENJOY.

:) Geez Johannes you know someone is getting desperate when they start quoting the bible.... I see you and me would disagree on more than just martial arts...

Sorry I offended you, over time you'l come to realise I was right, about more then one thing :)

Merry Xmas to you too, though......

Johannes,

You know I actualy feel pretty bad about this... I didn't mean to piss you off, I was more happy to find someone with similar interests to me that I could talk sh!t to.

Bud you obviously have a lot vested in this where its just a passing interest to me.

I'm not someone who likes people just aggreeing with me, as I'll never learn anything and I do the same to others... So never meant to attack your beleive system...

So peace brother... You'll probably find we more alike then you would like to admit...

Thug the scripture was a joke. There is no way one can quote scripture in such a case, and for me being a prophet, gees, I am probably the worlds worst believer of all time. I sometimes drink too much, I smoke, I have screwed my girlfriends (and a couple of others), I have been in far to many fights outside the ring or dojo, so please know that I was not serious.

Wanderlei at his best, in Pride, was a monster. His second fight with Jackson remains one of the best MMA fights ever.

I'll see if I can find it.

First knockout on Jackson.

Second one was even more brutal. Watch the history.

eish. I have forgotten myself how brutal that second fight was. Wanderlei like Anderson Silva has got really, really beautifull Muay Thai. It is like art that can kill you.

That's good man, you were getting pretty serious at the end there, I'm a fellow MMA/boxing/fighting fan... I'll be honest though, when I think Karate I think JKA and now know there is a more aggresive style. But, I was getting pretty worried there, at one stage you started sounding like the Gracie's :)

I use to box and when I saw boxers doing so badly in the MMA ring I guess I was also a bit biased for a while. You have to aggree that no fighting style on its own is good enough.

Can we focus on what we do aggree upon?

I'm glad BJJ has become part of MMA and not just a way of proving a point. I hated the fact that they were so cocky! Plus I hated those boring fights, did you see the second Gracie/Shamrock fight that ended in a draw, man I was praying that this wasn't what MMA was becoming.

GSP is an amazing fighter...

What's happening with Pride fighters doing so bad in UFC though, I really like Wand, that aggresive way of fighting has always been appealing to me, but he's not doing so well at the moment, the same with Crocop, man his last fight he lost against a nobody, don't say its his age, he early 30s...

FEDOR!!!!

FEDOR VS PUDZIANOWSKI WOULD BE AN INSANE FIGHT

you serious?

A few facts about Marius first fight :
- the other guy had 0 pro fights
- was intimidated by size and a mental midget
- He tapped to Strikes! do you know wat that means! you know how embrassaing tapping to strikes are?

Facts about Marius and fighters his size :
- They gass easily.Everyone knows muscle requires alot of oxygen he will not be able to fight even 3 x 5 minute rounds without gassing example of other big bulky fighters gassing Kimo leopoldo,Kevin randleman,Mark kerr,Bob sapp,James thompson,Kimbo slice,MarK coleman just of the top of my head.

- Back in the day of UFc 1-20 fighter got away with being one dimensional and you can actualy compete if you were only good in one aspect of the game.MMa has evolved so much that fighter cant rely on one thing to be succesful I am unclear in what aspect Marius is actually good at.You might mention he did boxing well ok other fighter that was one dimensional that are doing horrible in the UFC becuase they can just strike is Houston Alexander,Paul Buentello and Kimbo Slice which I might add had trainig from Bas Rutten(pancrase champion in his day) and his ground game is stil not even acceptable. One dimensional fighter gets owned!

- Ground game : 99% of the time wrestlers put strikers on their back.Wrestlers take strikers into their own world.Wrestlers are more powerfull and one dimensional fighters that can jsut strike have no clue about take-down defense.Marius has NO groundgame. He doesnt have any training in greco roman or any other wrestling he also doesnt have a background in BJJ.Wrestlers dominate over Strikers if you can even call Marius a striker.

- If u think Marius is to big to be taken down look up Brett rogers,Zulizinho, hong man choi,Fujita these were all fighters that was big! all shapes and sizes that Fedor either beat or took down.Size is not a factor GSP trains with Nate marquardt they have a 30pound weight difference GSP which is the lighter guy can score take downs on NAte with ease.Frank Mir also commented that Joe "big daddy" Stevenson which is a 155pound fighter that walks around at 175 pounds can score a take down on him!! Technique over size.

Mental Notes on Marius
- no gas tank
- one dimensional striking(Maybe we should get into the facts about the impact of big mucles on punching power)
- no ground game
- all size no technique
- no take down defense
- inexperienced.

Maybe post fedor vs. Marius on sherdog.com and let the people dissect your post :silly: Only a thought

Meet James Thompson a massive brawler from UK.with a record of 15-12 figthing in Pride for years and then he went over to strikeforce. He is a one dimensional massive brawler with no ground game.He lost 7 of his last 8 fights.I remember watching him fight Alexander Emelianenko trying to intimidate the Russian with growls and spit running down his face few seconds later he rushed in and got caught and put flat on his back This is the game of mma and size doesnt matter.

My 2c. He looks stupid, hence the reason he gets fucked up on a regular basis ???

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

Well Marius Pudzianowski just had his second mma fight. He gassed out in 5minutes,showed no form of ground-game(Tim sylvia basicly just fell into side-control without effort) and he tapped due to strikes.I guess thats the end of that topic.
