I'm interested in this as I'm also having major intestinal issues at the moment and am really struggling to isolate the issue. What do you mean by heavy carbs and what's your symptoms? What alternative can you make use of?

Oats. Heavy and digests slowly. Pasta and Spaghetti. Mash or even boiled potatoes. Damp or stamp mielies and pap. I even get it with wheatbix and rye bread. But notice it is worse if I consume any of these for breakfast... I feel bloated. Uncomfortable. Get heartburn/ acid reflux and feel sluggish... Remember I am talking about myself here and foods I have identified as definite culprits for me.

It is on you. It always has been...

Nols, try cut out all gluten and dairy based products.

As Admin suggested its more than likely food allergies.

I could eat literally anything and my stomach wouldnt blink and then all of a sudden I couldnt handle any gluten(most oats contain gluten) or dairy(whey protein powders) products and preworkouts including caffeine really arent good.

It makes life quite challenging but once you get used to it your food choices are much healthier!

When you say the discomfort is in the upper part of your stomach, are you referring to your belly right under your sternum?

I feel like this could be the issue.
Sounds quite similar to G.E.R.D

But an doc should have picked that up no? They can put you on something like lansoloc or trustan for it - if you wanna go that route.

Novice, I have experienced the same, I can also literally eat anything week in and week out and then suddenly my stomach would kak off. Well I am back on instant oats and my stomach is fine, I tested myself with regular Jungle oats(the one you must cook in water first) and boom my stomach hurts...., so far no discomfort with the instant oats...weird!!!

, ek vermy brood heeltemal. Dankie vir die hulp.

Eidolon, my discomfort is in the Transverse colon area.
