Well as you all no I've been battling with a trapped nerve off and on for years now since I was in my early 20's. I've been to Orthopedic surgeons,Doctors, physio,Chiro's and for deal tissue massages(remember even my own mother is a Doctor) so I've tried everything and been given a variety of diagnosis from rotator cuff to torn rear delt.
If you look back to when I first joined the forum you'll see me asking about uneven rear delt development..
Well Adim put me in contact with Doctari and without even seeing me the genius nailed my problem on the head. I went for Proper stress view X-rays and it turns out I have a degenerative disc C5/C6
I've got an appointment with a neurosurgeon on the 11 of next month all we'll go from there but disc replacement surgery looks like what's going to be on the cards. Look I can still train obviously no squats deadlifts or any excercise that puts strain on the Cervical spine and we'll only no once I've seen the specialist how long the recovery will be but apparently with it being just the one disc it won't be that bad but it all depends on how badly herniated the disc is.
A big thanks to Both the Boss and Doctari
I'll keep you all posted on what the prognosis is. What a shit cycle even though I've put on 10kg training hasn't been fun and now stuck with a swollen mouth from my wisdoms and I've got surgery on my back to look forward to.
Has anybody had a degenerative disc issue before and gone through the surgery ?

Thanks to the boss for putting you in touch with someone who knows what they talking about. This proves how many quacks there are out there just making a buck.
Keep us updated on what the neurosurgeon says bro, and wishing you all the best as always!

Ye I'm just trying to stay positive, I'll be dropping the long esters early so that I can start bridging and I'll decide what route to take after the MRI and talking to the specialist.
Thanks for the support gents

Dont worry about the shrinking man, it is a setback, but not permanent, now you can come back in better than before, and give the weights hell.
Good luck man, keep us updated.

What are your thoughts? So should I have to go under the knife I'll obviously tell them that I'm on gear as the Equi will still be in my system. So would it be an idea to drop to a TRT dose when I go in and run it for the month I'm in recovery and out of the gym? Surely that'll help me wasting away to much and doing a pct while in hospital for 3 days and unable to eat sounds impossible( they operate through the back of your throat..
I'm just trying to think of ways of dealing with this hurdle and nothing will be set in stone until I've sat down with the neurosurgeon

I also went for surgery a while ago, and what i did was...
I finished my Test/Tren cycle, did a full PCT and went for surgery. After surgery i used peptides and lost a very minimal amount of muscle and my recovery was what the doctor called 'profound' lol

Sorry to hear about your problem, but I would like to please offer you a word of advice,
When going for Disc replacement surgery it is very important to look at your current life style and what it is that you want to achieve with the disc replacement surgery. There are numerous discs on the market and it is very important that patients become informed of what they are and what they do, if you are looking at staying fit and keeping on living a active life style you want to look at preserving motion in your cervical region, if you look at your natural anatomy your disc consist of a Nucleus and a Annulus which acts as a natural shock absorber and also allows you to achieve the six degrees of motion N.L Flexion, Extension, Lateral Bending, Anterior-posterior Translation, Axial Compresion and Axial rotation. This is what your natural disc’s function is and if you look at DDD- Disc degenerative Disease where the disc is protruding into the canal it is almost guaranteed that surgery will take place… now important factor is that when going for surgery you want a disc that will restore height, de-compress the nerve and restore Lordosis which is your natural curvature of the cervical spine, and you something that will preserve motion and not Fuse. Meaning in the spine surgery there are two types of outcomes, Arthroplasty and fusion, now if you want to achieve and preserve motion you do not want fusion to take place because that will lead to further problems and Adjacent level diseases in the future which lead to the rest of your discs becoming damaged which will lead to surgery again.
What I want to come down to is, a lot of Orthopeadic and Neuro Surgeons are corrupt meaning that they get paid to use certain companies Medical devices such as cages, artificial discs and screws. Like I mentioned earlier on is that your natural disc consists of a nucleus and an annulus, now there is only once disc in the whole world that incorporates an Artificial Nucleus and Annulus into their disc which mimics the patients natural anatomy, this disc is called the M6- which stands for Six degrees of motion like explained earlier in my letter, the Nucleus of the disc is compressible meaning that axial compression can take place in the disc which also mimics the natural anatomy, the annulus allows the patient to achieve progressive resistance which means it progressively allows the patient to achieve the six degrees of motion, it also has very low profile keels which allows for primary fixation into the vertebral body to prevent the disc from migrating or subsiding.
Compared to other discs on the market, the ball and socket disc is not compressible, it cannot achieve the six degrees of motion and it leads to hyper mobility which means you move your neck to fast and there is no stopping which leads to serious problems. And this is what all the discs on the market do except the M6. So ask your surgeon about this and you are more then welcome to print this and show this to him he will know exactly what all of this means. I am in Theater almost everyday of my life and specifically in spine surgery and disc replacement surgery. Check out their website. www.spinalkinetics.com/
Best of luck

I really appreciate that. My biggest fear is not being able to live an active life at least as good if not hopefully better than I am now.
+1 for taking the time
