Yup can't believe my estrogen is so frikn high?!?!?...
Not te be rude or to take away anything from this doctor- but seriously how would you know he "knows his stuff"? By his use of terminology? Sorry but if my doctor tells me that my testosterone is too high due to my protein shakes il go get another doctor because as ma pointed out no one is dumb enough to spike protein shake with testosterone. And definitely not usn nor ondiers whey which costs next to nothing!

Pleasure bro! I am really glad he could help you especially this late time of year. Thanx for the vote of confidence in my doc he really is the man!V1rus wrote: Yeah well this guy really knows his stuff. It is very possible that the testing lab has got different testing parameters and therefore have different specified normal ranges.
Also there is probably a problem with the relay of information from the doctor to the patient who then relays the information to us.
That being said, if the information we receive is really what has been said by the doctor and is not taken out of context,, then with no disrespect to MA meant and MA knows I greatly value his opinion, but I would much rather take the advice from my doctor.
This guy has helped me before where I went to several "top specialists" and all they did was jerk my chain and drill a hole in my wallet. This guy who is only a GP helped me to identify the real problem quickly and the best possible treatment for it. He has a true gift for medicine and he knows about steroids. He even pinned me.

He said it helps with the swelling etc. Next time, if my estrogen levels are not down, he will treat that.

ARCOXIA is one of a group of medicines called selective COX-2 inhibitors. These belong to a family of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).ARCOXIA helps to reduce the pain and swelling (inflammation) in the joints and muscles of people with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout.ARCOXIA is also used for the short term treatment of moderate pain after dental surgery.
What is osteoarthritis?
Osteoarthritis is a disease of the joints. It results from the gradual breakdown of cartilage that cushions the ends of the bones. This causes swelling (inflammation), pain, tenderness, stiffness and disability.
What is rheumatoid arthritis?
Rheumatoid arthritis is a long term inflammatory disease of the joints. It causes pain, stiffness, swelling, and increasing loss of movement in the joints it affects. It may also cause inflammation in other areas of the body.
What is gout?
Gout is a disease of sudden, recurring attacks of very painful inflammation and redness in the joints. It is caused by deposits of mineral crystals in the joint.
What is ankylosing spondylitis?
Ankylosing spondylitis is an inflammatory disease of the spine and large joints.
So someone please tell me how anti flam meds for joints and muscles will help with puffy nipples caused by protein shakes?

Pyroclasm wrote: No MA like I said earlier there is an error in communication. I don't think my doc said that he probably meant something completely different. My doc is not an idiot he won't just say shit like that without proper reason. And he is 100% up to date with all the latest medical trends and experiments.
+1. I might have misheard something, I know he said my test is to high and my estrogen is way to high. This guy really is up to date.

V1rus wrote: Hi guys
It is believed that there is some test in protein shakes and he has taken me off all shakes for 6 weeks to see if this is the cause.
How does one miss hear something like this? I mean did he tell you to drop the protein shakes or not? Maybe you should phone him and ask and make sure?

So he did indeed tell you to drop the protein shakes due to them having an effect on your hormonal levels?
