End of the day he did what I did, but he has trophies out of it.. Now he needs to just get over the huge mass loss and psychological issues I suffer when ever I saw someone, wow what happened to you did you get aids? Wow you are so small, etc..

End of the day I have now broken away from gear, I'm sure if I will use again, and I have had to drop to under 100kgs to control my blood pressure. So that's close on 25kg drop..

Anyway life goes on, I could push it more but then I will be in dialysis, right now I can still have a nice piece of meat, not to much though...

Everyone is on about how he ruined his health. but what exactly did he do? huge doses of gear for prolonged periods? 12 protein shakes a day? What would he've done to make it this bad?

And also. A year ago we were told things are looking up - hes got a new trainer and is pulling strong etc. Why the sudden regression?

see from what i hear and believe its been a prolonged period of a couple of years on the gear bro, that combined with multiple shows in a year as an amateur means 16 weeks on orals a year, and lets not lie to ourselves its gonna be big dosages too, throw diuretics into the mix before each show and you have got a major issue(there have been plenty of people who have died from renal failure due to diuretic abuse) that combined with loading up on the protein constantly through out the year and then u get yourself to where he was last year, george pulled him off gear for 4 weeks and then he got his chick pregnant and made then made a miraculous recovery a couple weeks later to get his kidneys down to a level 2 from a level 5 from what i remember... working with a new coach for a year doesnt make up for the 10 years damage he had done.

ask marco rossi how he managed to be on a dialysis, and he says from steroid abuse and pushing himself and diuretics.

He screwed himself...there are lots of pros who at least make it till they are older before the problems set in he accomplished it in record time...not taking anything away from him he did make it to the big leagues. But i think there is that line between being competitive and ridiculous.we all know they use bigger dosages than normal and the way they use it is also different but there is still a line...and he crossed it.

Oh yes also in this months muscel evolution mag i noticed he was not looking as big as he normally does. I presume this is due to lower amounts of protein

Do you think the pros like Jay Cutler and Phil Heath have the same issues or are they just well coached throughout their career to know when to draw the line?

well if u work with guys like hany rambod he tells u 2 shows a year, thats it. also they go for regular bloods and make sure they are in top health, also i dont know if u were at the jay cutler thing, he takes 2-3months off a year from dieting hard and training, which also gives the body a break,so i think they are wise and well coached.

So you recon that Maruis just pushed to hard too fast? I mean look at Jay Cutler, he is getting on in years now and he was at the Top for long and has been huge for ages i mean going on 15 years if not more! And every year he is bigger, constantly a mass growth monster, his cycles are huge!!!

So if we stick to cycles with recommended off periods then over many years do you think we can still be on the safe side? Or what would you recommend we do to continue growing into our old age and never suffer such devastating consequences!?>

Some people smoke cigaretts all their life and never develop lung cancer, some never smoke at all and do. End of the day its an individual thing, but high doses of steroids is were all the problems start from, you do not need crazy doses like Jakes said to achieve results. Low dose of steroids, healthy life style, perfect diet and training / rest pattern + genetics and genetics and genetics. More juice != better genetics.

What about the guys with shit genetics? I know guys who use test and gain 4-6kg on a second cycle and keep like 5. Some guys use 500mg and keep like 10kg. It would really piss me off if that happens, but ja...

Hes uncle died in 2009 from kidney failure, what really confuses me is he must of suffered many years before hes unfortunate death.

Did Marius never even do occasional blood work/urine tests ? that high protein in the urine is incredibly easy to pickup and renal impairment does not just happen overnight... Incredibly reckless behavior!

I saw the guy last year at an IFBB when he made a guest appearance, still going on about how wants to pickup x amount of muscle etc etc, seriously ?? You have a new born and want to go playing around with your life like that. Eigh

The guy is definately not a total fool. I am sure he had regular bloodwork done. If not in the past then i am sure with his current trainer. The guy has kidney problems and tried his best to do BB while trying to keep his health in check. Like DJ always states, it is not cookie cutter! He must have tried many different ways but in the end he realised that it is game over. I am not disputing the fact that he might have abused in earlier years. Im just referring to the last 5years probably
