Ripped off on BidorBuy what do I do???

For interest sake if you google the phone number you get a load of hits from a trevor selling and buying stuff on junkmail and another site! So either who ever pulled a fast one on koe gave him a random cell no or trevor and plaatjies is the same person:p

ok i ran the cell number, its pay as you go, unfortunately. if it was a contract id be able to get all her info. you have any other info Koe? i checked on cybertrade theres no M Plaatjies residing in Salt River. do you know if shes residing in the Western Cape. an ID number would be a bonus. ill get one of my tracers to contact her on her cell and try squeeze some info out of her

Thanks bud yes from the ads Trevor placed they are based in Western Cape, unbelievably slippery people, judging by the ads I have seen they do this alot. Sorry no Id number ill try get hold of it.

This forum post came up in my news feed this morning and since I work at bidorbuy I would love to look into this again for you to see if there is a way we can help.

If you have traced them to running more scams I would strongly suggest opening a case we will be more than happy to assist with the investigation and some successes has been achieved going this route.

It doesn't look like they are using that cell number anymore. The google hits show that the last ads placed by 'Trevor' with that number were a few months ago. There is a Megan Plaatjies living in Cape Town in (very dodgy area) Hanover Park. I wonder if that is her.
