No need for pre and post work out meals. Just have 6 meals a day split equally.

then you will never get back into ketosis as it takes u 3 days or so to get back into ketosis. jsut follow a keto diet of first 14 days 0 carbs, then 1 carb up meal of +/- 200-250g of carbs, then repeat that every 7 days.

@Ice-Rip....I've been following DJ's advice the same he has given above. Trust me it works. Yeah u miss the carbs in the beginning but u get over it. I only have one carb up meal a week and that's a BIG one. I know u sound skeptical but u honestly don't lose any muscle or strength and results are amazing.

@Gab....I'm not too sure on the T3 with keto but u can def add a testosterone as test also helps u to lean out. DJ explained to me that there won't be water retension as there aren't any carbs involved. So a test and winny blend will be perfect also Yohimbine and Clen.

I wouldn't go that high with fats. But I am not your coach.wwatch your nut intake as that will throw u out of ketosis due to carb content in nuts.

Just a thought from someone brand new to weight loss... the Keto Diet sounds very expensive? I am on a tight budget, female, weigh 105kgs, am 1.7m tall (yep, very much overweight...) and have just started mild exercise. Have heard about ECA stacks, Heat, Clen... lots of stuff. I need help please.

Hmmm... R1200 or so. Single girl, small job. I need to get started somewhere, have no energy to exercise and slow metabolism. Mega sugar-craves.

Well there's one major problem already. Sugar is like crack. Its addictive lol. I've become so used to NOT having sugar. When that happens u don't get sugar cravings anymore. I just crave carbs now and then so enjoy my carb up meal. Also when u craving sugar it usually means ur natural sugar levels are crashing and by eating a balanced healthy diet this won't happen.

Yeah Keto works out expensive but what isn't these days. Works out cheaper than take out food. Especially if u buy in bulk. Keto diets are based on you lean body mass protein requirements so it differs for different people.

I never had that, but people react differently.

Is the headache etc from bloodpressure?

@NoBitchinWeLiftHeavy: For coffee, you need to cut the sugar and milk. Also, drink ground coffee, not cheap instant coffee as they usually contain dextrose. I go on the rule no direct source of carbs, so I would also avoid the lemon altogether, but perhaps in tiny amounts it would be ok.
The pre-workout contains sucralose, which it can cause an insulin response, but in terms of carbs it has zero. I would avoid it though :(

Because of it's monotony and restrictions, it is difficult to maintain a keto diet for longer than a cut (Targeted Ketogenic Diet being an exception IMO). Evidence shows it's possible, but for a healthy lifestyle I recommend Paleo, or at the very least eating mostly just plants and animals.
