Steroids just like any other drugs are very toxic (ask pump if you're not sure). If you consistently took crystal meth for most of the year what long term side effects will you suffer compared to if you cycled it?
This is a bit of an extreme example but I hope you get what I'm trying to say. And I'm in no way endorsing or condoning recreational drug use, hope this doesn't get me in trouble

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

if you take in consideration the half life of the synthetic hormones floating around in your body 6weeks makes no sense to me sorry ,i do however believe age is a big factor and that the younger recover faster ,even if the bloods come back in range after lets say '6weeks' i would still wait longer for optimum calibration it just makes sense to me to let the synthetic hormones clear out then let your body do the final touch ups ,and thats my opinion feel free to disagree

The day i stop training is the day i die!

It's all cool tnj. I think you will find that the general consensus on these boards is time off must at least equal time on. The guys here will always give the most responsible advice and lean towards the side of caution. Having said that everyone is different I suppose, but why take the chance of doing damage to yourself? You not trying to turn pro are you?
Guys who compete at the upper levels often take risks that the rest of us wont. I suppose at the end of the day, it's all about how much you value your health.

I agree with you you roidolone, i think age is a big factor plus cycle history.I believe and i might be wrong but i think you recover quicker when you first start pinning and that the more cycles you do the longer the off time needs to be.

Fact is there is no solid rule in the "handbook of life" on the time off issue. The formula surely is derived from medical trials giving a indication of a mainstream avg time it would take for hormonal levels to get back to normal after problably a avg length cycle with avg dosages. Stress being on "avg"! Unfortunately we are individuals and therefor all differ.

Take it as a indication of a relatively safe time off period (time on + pct = time off). However you might be a lucky individual who recover quicker or maybe you actually need more time off. I've read articles that states that ecstacy cause inbalances in the brain that could take 6 - 12 months to balance again. That's from 1 tablet! Its not the same thing but a indication of how your body reacts to chemicals.

Keep in mind what 00pump said in some other post. Having normal bloodwork results does not necessarily mean full recovery. Its a gamble

i think some guys will recover faster than others and don't need that long break, but you will never know in less you do it yourself and the consequences may just be very bad. because everybody is different it won't help you to hear from a few guys it worked for toonly break 6weeks, because it might not work for you and then the damage is already done. i'd rather just be safe and do what 99% of steroid 'gurus' suggest and wait the full cycle + pct time.

Guys i agree with all the opions posted that rather safer than sorry,it was just that one wants to know how it came to being (time on plus pct=time off)and perhaps deadgoat is spot when he says having elevated cholesterol and blood pressure for an extended peroids of time cant be good.Thunderbeast this equilibrium you talk about what is it coz once your blood test show up as perfect what else are we waiting to balance out.

This is becoming ridiculous now. YOU are the one who wants to believe what he wants to believe.
You came here for advice, and you got it. Sane, clear, safe advice, from people who clearly know more about cycling than you ever will. The fact that you never got the answer you wanted is your problem, no one else's.
I think it will be best for everyone if you go back to your "springbok" bodybuilder, he obviously has the answer you are looking for. You have not produced one iota of evidence for your "6 week theory" but you make disparaging remarks about the members who disagree with you.
NO ONE on this site is going to recommend something that might be harmful!
I think Pump should lock this thread, all you are doing is wasting peoples time on here.

You must also remember that he was a springbok bodybuilder. Those guys have good genetics and most people can never handle the amounts of gear that they use.

You guys might think I'm crazy, but i know how to achieve greatness.

look i work on the time on + pct = time off.... thats the way i do it,as your body needs to adjust to the amount of muscle and train u have put it under to get those gains,i do 1 cycle a year these days, and i will start cutting it down as i got slightly insane haha,

your body needs to recover and you gotta realize that your muscle might get strong very fast but it take a while for your tendons, joints and ligaments to catch up,tendons and ligaments do not receive the same blood flow as muscles do so they need some time to catch up to the rest of the body....it like working on a car.. take a citi golf shell add in nitrous to it,you will go really fast really quick but if you havent upgraded the cooling, the exhaust and the breaks and suspsension u are gonna have an engine and car that can easily get written off!!

same with the body, adding massive muscle is fine, but u are going to risk injury on joints, tendons and other organs in the body if you add to much to fast and do not give yourself long enought to adjust to the increase in muscle mass!!

why do u think 90% of pro bodybuilders seem to get offseason injuries??? as lot of the time this is their "off" period from gear and the body cant recover like it used to on gear! so thats why most people get injured....

so guys, take time off, even if it is time on cycle = time off cycle not even including pct time, its needed! its essential,3-4weeks to add to the off time cos of pct isnt that crutial but then again this is your choice... listen to your body...

Coming to this board asking for advice is one thing, making sarcastic and disparaging remarks about the very people who are trying to help you is another. Saying things like the members should take IQ tests before coming on here is not going to win you any friends. Not only does it show a lack of gratitude, it's downright rude.

The blood tests that you do, only test for known changes to the body. There are still other things that are not known, take DJs point for example. Could those blood tests have given you an indication of the state your joints and ligaments are in? dont think so...

Also going on cycle causes your body's hormonal equilibrium to shift, so whats going to happen? as long as equilibrium is shifting due to all the stimuli, changes will occur to your body's physical composition... Once it reaches this new point, you will be stuck again, and now you need to inject more foreign compounds to make a change happen again... Thats why I dont see a point in long cycles, unless you use chems that take a long time to cause the desired effect, for example equipoise.

All facts about steroids are not known. It is just silly to think that. That is why I am saying that a blood test is not the ALPHA and OMEGA of indicators to your health, (and Im not even refering to the fact of how uninformative and inaccurate it could be, as 00pump pointed out)

There is no safe drug, there is always a benefit to risk ratio- Charles Yeasalis
But establishing this ratio in the steroid world, would always at best be a gamble.
