Hey guys, who out there has broken the (time on cycle plus pct=time off)rule. And if so what was the consequence, plus what was it that you were on.Is there any medical litreture to back up this rule .If blood work shows up fine after pct why such a long waiting peroid before next cycle.I ask this because ive had the boys tied so fertility is of no concern.I know this is more than one question but i would appreciate if all points could be addresed.Thx in advance.

Forget blood work, steroids are toxic, and scheduled drug is, if you don't give your body time off you land up with serious complications like me, where you can pretty much never do a proper steroid cycle again.

Time off is designed so your body can rid of toxins.. I have PSA tests come back negative yet I can't piss my prostrate is so inflamed. Kidneys pissing blood, yet my blood tests show normal kidney function.

Bottom line is, take the time off, unless you have the genetics to go Pro and that is your dream. If is not your dream give your body time off, because once you have a complication you screwed.

Pump how did that work out for you.Have got any long term damage. If you do docs pct to the T,what are you actually waiting for your body to do that it hasnt already done during pct as far as bringing everything back to normal.Oh thx OOpump for reply and i understand your point but what i would like to know is how much of your negative experiences do you think have been to maybe incorrect PCT with your first cycles.

Not everything is black and white ey, not all side-effects of any drug is known.
Your health and wellbeing is not garenteed by all the safty messures you take.
So why take the risk?

This is why so many people end up blaming doctors for incompetence, there are just too many variables involved, and with all the knowledge known to man, there still is a chance that you are part of the population that will completely fuck out on a certain substance.

You may only pay the price of your sins YEARS down the line, when you are old and not so strong...

Fair enough thunderbeast but if thats the way you look at it then basically anything that gets discussed on this board is invalid.Im asking for advise from people who have had hands on experience and what were there experiences whether their experiences relate to me or not i will decide.

No I haven't really other than a bit of ball shrinkage. I believe that sides are common to most people but some people are affected less by them and can get away with it.But everyone will someday have to pay for their actions. But the degree of their consequences will be determined by a number of factors including genetics.

well i thought it was funny, and i assure you my IQ is a perfect triple figure number ;) you on the other hand..... thunderbeast and pump gave nice posts illustrating the potential damage that could come as a result and reason enough for you to rather not even pursue the idea or topic.... if you want to pass shnide remarks at what was just a little jest then remove the barbel from your gat and go take test all year round, enjoy :)

Chapel perhaps if you could read then you would see that the rules say dont reply to a topic if you cant contribute. The point of this topics is how do we use the information of time off between cycles if the rules have just been made up randomly.Does anyone know if Doc ever gave advice on time off between cycles.

@tnj, its not exactly healthy to have elevated cholesterol, liver enzyme and blood pressure levels for most of the year. Essentially you'll have the body of a bodybuilder but the insides of an obese alcoholic which again is not a healthy situation regardless of your body "going back to normal" after a while

@chapel, you have to realise that not everyone was born with a sense of humour. And of those who were, you may not share the same sense of humour :)

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

Hmmmmm, ok fair enough on the rules their mate. If YOU could read you would see the answer to your.... question.... has been given to you in maybe not the way you want but a way that clearly states what people think of your idea. Time on+PCT= Time off. Simple. You even know the answer. If you want to pour what are essentially foreign and toxic substances into your body for extended periods of time there will be damage regardless of whether you aren't worried about your nuts working. If you want studies then go search Google, any (knowledgeable)forum or website you go to will preach the same method.

Over and out, and i would prefer it if you didn't touch my karma again. Its like taking a mans protein, not on.

My best guess is that the rule has originated from the collective knowledge of steroid gurus/internet forums/gym talk/medical opinions etc etc... there is not ONE rule that would apply to all in the case of chems. That being said, It means that your body may take MORE or LESS that that time to establish an equilibrium again (if perhaps at all)...

but here is the question... HOW would YOU know that? How would you know how much time is required by YOUR body to establish that equilibrium again?

The knowledge you seek does not exist and therefore it is still very dangerous for you to make a decision on anything said by 2 okes on an internet forum, unless what they say are backed by long and big scientific studies.

Remember alot of information that bodybuilders know about steroids, does not exist in the medical world and were never proven anywhere and are just safe guidelines for the average person conjured up from reasonable and critical collective thinking.

The only thought I want to leave with you is this, even if you get THE AWNSER YOU WANT to your questions here, there is still a helluva chance that YOU might be in the wrong at the end ( Especially if most of the available iformation indicates that you should not use steroids for prolonged peroids of time)

Is your diet and training really so perfect and consistant year-round, that the only other option you have is to take steroids year-round?

Hey guys keep it civil. this thread is very fast on its way to the junk section.

tnj - if u want this thread going then layoff the members thats not giving u the answer u want. i personally think they have been answered over and over. The long term effect is what is the pressing issue if u don't take enough time off in between cycle's. Like it's been mentioned u might be fine now and for the next few years but maybe 5 - 10 years down the line u suffer from permanent high blood, colesterol enlarge heart and so on. The Major damage are always instant but build up and hit u out of nowhere.

Ok sorry for being offended so easily.fakey i get what you say but ultimately what i gather from this is that taking juice is a whole hit and miss thing. From whats been said is that if you are unlucky as much as one cycle can stuff you up long term wether you do your PCT correct or not, wether you take enough time off or not and even the time off rule is not a guarantee that all will be ok.

That might be true in a sence but i'd rather take sufficient time off and do proper pct to for that extra help to stop complications and future problems. That extra precautions can make a big difference in the long term effects it can have on ur system.

tnj with respect bud, you come on here looking for advice, which is a smart move. What is not a smart move however, is ignoring everyone's advice just because it's not the answer you were hoping for. Also your little hissey fit with Chapel just detracts from what is a fairly serious topic.
If someone with 20 years of cycle experience and a wealth of scientific knowledge like Pump, tells you it's not a good idea to not take time off, I would believe him.
You are of course entitled to do what you want with the free and expert advice you find on these boards. However, I for one, know who I would listen to and follow.

Now exactly the reason i asked the question is because i want facts, what got me to posting the question is because i follow all the advise given on this board and just recently i was speaking to a ex springbok bodybuilder who is a personal trainer with 28 years of cycle experience and he said that i dont need longer than 6 weeks off before next cycle. Now i respect everyone opinion on this board who is qualified to give it.Maybe now you see why i want to know more about how the time off cycle was calculated.

@tnj, did you ask this former bok how he derived his "6 weeks" theory or did you not bother as it sounded far more attractive than waiting 6 months?
