Hey N3rd, hope things are going well with the training bro.

Ouy of the many members on this forum I actually have a lot of respect for you. You've stayed natural, but continued to come here for advice and to further your bodybuilding. You've made good progress over time, and your always willing to learn. In fact your one of the few members that actually spends time researching answers to both his own and others questions.
I don't think you should turn to AAS for the foot bro. Yeah, steroids can have positive and negative impacts on collagen synthesis, and HGH as well, but their impacts are minimal and for the type of stress put on your foot I do not think worth it.
The needles will help to aleviate the pain in the short term. I'm not sure of the severity of your physiology but you can try to work on growing the ligament in the long term. Certainly ligaments do not grow a lot in later life, and if you have a significantly short one you may never aquire the length you need. People who are not born with Plantar Faciitis but instead aquire it from other life stresses gain much relief from stretching the ligament. I know you said above that it can't stretch but thats not quite accurate. It is stretching, that's what's causing the microtears that is causing the inflammation that is causing the pain.
Certainly I can understand why you don't want to snip the ligament, though there are flat footed people around the world that live happily that way. I to would probably not make the cut myself. Think long and hard about whether this is a pain you can live with for life. If you are willing to brave the storm as you have done so far for the last 21 years then I'm sure with time the ligament will ease up and the pain will be less. Perhaps even more so if you impliment an extensive stretching rountine for the next few years? Then maybe one day when you begin cycling and using HGH the ligament will heal up even better :)

Best of luck bro!
Stay natural (for now).

Thanks Inja.
I'm staying natural as long as possible.
I want to see what this body can do :woohoo:

I cannot stand longer than 30min and have to sit at all times :(
I cannot see it getting better with age, but I do stretch calves/hams and plantar fascia 5 days a week.

Dream BIG, one Rep at a time.

Hmm... Sounds rough. If it becomes a real problem preventing you from "living life" then perhaps its better to get the op. But if you can live with it push through. If you can walk into a gym with a sore lower back from overdoing deadlifts, and still rep out at the squat rack with a few hundred pounds, then you can live with a sore foot. We train ourselves for this bro, Tough MutherFuggers! ;)
