but then again it could be the excess fat from the dairy being excreted...at the end of the day lactose is still lactose which is a milk sugar and converts to fat at the same rate as fructose which is higher then with sucrose. end of the day,500ml of milk had got 30g of protein in it but it also has the same amount of carbs which are sugar...so drinking that will definantly spike insulin when u least want it.

hmm sounds a bit confusing, so what exactly is the outcome about dairy, good or bad ? I include dairy in my diet for calcium and it contains lots of protein, all fat free.. ie : milk, cottage cheese etc..

Dont know bud, but after that episode the conclusion was that the dairy holds on to dietry fat and is eventually excreted.

well bud thats only 2000calories and u expect to put on muscle with that....ummmm yea think again dude... try double that amount of calories and then u will get to where u need to be for muscle growth. i work on 3.4g of protein per kg and then i adjust the carbs and fats to meet requirements.

Energy 190 KJ
Protein 3.1 g
Carbohydrate -4.8 g
Glucose 2.4 g
Galactose 2.4 g
Lactose 0.0g

ummmm dude that 4.8g of sugars per 100ml,so it might not have milk sugar in it(lactose) but it has pure sugar in it (glucose)

What is lactose intolerance?
Lactose intolerance is a type of food sensitivity. It is the most common carbohydrate intolerance and affects people of all ages. Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose (a sugar present in milk) because of a deficiency of the enzyme lactase., The lactose is not broken down into galactose and glucose. The lactose remains in the gut and draws water into the intestine. Bacteria ferments the undigested lactose, forming lactic acid and other organic acids, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen gas. This results in bloating, flatulence, cramps and diarrhea.

end of the day,if are looking to put on size then use milk but realise u are gonna get alot of additional fat gain from the added calories as well as storing alot of the unused calories from the insulin spike that happens... when causing an insulin spike u want to stay far away from fats(which milk has in it even your easygest milk) cos insulin is your storage hormone,so unless u wanna store fat in the muscle or on the body stay away from taking fats around fast acting carbs or milk.

I would "got your back to" more often but The Northern One is just clamped on so damn tight!

Ok thanks Dj but now tell me for some one wanting to loose fat but still put on mucsel eating 4000 cal will surly make me get fatter. I agree on the 3.4g of protein per kg of bodyweight as I have been told before you need between 2.5g and 3g of protein per kg of bodyweight. At 97kg I would need 329g of protein on your 3.4g per kg which would give me 1319 cal from protein the rest to make 4000 cal needs to come from carbs and good fats. I was told to eat between 2g to 4g of carbs per kg of bodyweight 2g being for weight loss and 4g for weight gain.at 97kg x 2 =194 carbs which gives you 776 cal. My good fats are around 30g a day which gives you 270 cal. if I add this all up I get 2365 cal which is not far off what I was getting. How on earth would I be able to eat 4000cal a day when I am stuffing my face every 3 hours ?

juiced - sounds like u need a high protein good carb diet and consistant training and cardio until u have burnt most your fat, so you looking at loosing weight first while keeping muscle so say 92kgs then up work on building your muscle up with the right 4000 calories, i was 99kgs and look almost the same size now when i am 90 but much more shape and much less fat - my goal 100kg lean
