Water consumption during training?

I have been wondering lately about water consumption during gym sessions. I have browsed the site but most of the topics and posts concern water consumption on a general basis or in diets and combinations with the usage of stimulants and anabolics.
Also, spoken to Doctors and Professors and everyone has a different opinion; some say it is beneficial and others believe that it leads to dehydration while training. Have no idea if that is correct
I guess it comes down to personal preference? & What do you guys find that works the best for you?

this is all done as to get a pump that will volumize the muscle from within, in order to stretch the muscle sheath (muscle fascia, the biggest inhibitor of muscle size) allowing the muscle to grow larger.
this supports what justin thacker is doing over here:

I'm with you... I hydrate throughout the day and avoid drinking too much during the workout as that makes me sick, especially on leg days.

and your body can only absorb about +/- 500ml into your system every hour. so prehydration is very important. especially when training in the mornings, since most people are not too big on their fluids at that time.

Hey guys, trust all is well, appologies for the late reply, personally I feel the same, its easier to pre-hydrate and I feel like I have more energy whilst training. I must say sometimes during training I do drink some water usually not more than 750ml. Afterwards I love the water for some reason.
Thanks for everyones input, not to dwel to much off topic- thanx for the awesome forum Admin
