I alternate on what my body likes.
day 1: shoulders (including traps)
day 2: back
day 3: arms
day 4: legs
day 5: chest
day 6&7: rest
the 2 days off gives my chest a chance to heal before i hit shoulders, otherwise on DB shoulder press, my chest streches and hurts.
other options are obviously chest/tri or chest/bi, back/tri or back/bi, legs, and shoulders.
whats nice about the Chest/tri and back/bi, is that the "small muscle", ie: bi and tri, are being worked BEFORE they are directly worked on. (by doing chest or back exercises before targeting the small muscles) you get more of a pump, more of a tear, and in turn, as we all know, more muscle.
I have done back/chest, shoulders, arms, legs, and found that chest and back on one day is tough to train. BUT if you do it right, u walk out the gym feeling like a giant!
i have an old school mentality (from the fact that i was brought up in a body building family) so i tend to stick to old school routines that worked back then.
if its broke, why fix it?
all in all, u gotta do what feels right with your body. many people will give u their opinions (like myself), but its up to u to go thru the "trial and error" phase. the best routine is usually going to be the one that YOU develop with the right amount of research, trial, and experimentation.
thats my 2c.

Delts already take part in your Chest training. Start with Chest end with all the lateral Raises. Like Dorian Yates said... When he elliminated overhead presses his Delts responded and grew even bigger. Side raises are the most important so do them first. With Front and back to follow.

Mine looks like this
day1. Chest and biceps
day2: Back
Day3: Legs
Day4: shoulders and triceps
I shuffle the days around now and then. Do abs 2 x per week so its not always with the same muscle group every week.
Is this split fine?
