Training and reintroduction was created by john777
Hello gentleman. I have been working on cardio for the last couple of years as it was needed for my line of work. Lots of running, 80 - 100 km a week. I also did lots of body PT, push ups, sit ups, pull ups, dips.
No I want to concentrate on strength again. I am starting slowly with Deadlifts, Military Press, Leg press. I am running less, maybe 30 - 50 km a week. Size is not essential but I want to get a bit stronger. I train without a gym partner, so Squatting and Bench Press is not really an option.
Any ideas would be great. I want to use something for fat loss, as I still want to remain lean.
I know my training sounds unconventional to many on here, Training for strengh but loosing weight, ans so forth, just take into account that I am not a bodybuilder in the strict sense of the word and that cardio will always be important to me.
However I know who to ask regarding dieting and strength training, you guys. Also the last time I used steroids was more than ten years ago, but before I do that I want to go from 15% bodyfat to 10%.
Any suggestions? I thank you kindly for reading and possibly resonding.
Regards

Leaving out squats and bench is a mistake IMO especially if you're looking to get stronger. 2 of the best compound moves you can possibly do, if you had injuries preventing then I would say ok but lack of training partner is not a valid excuse.

As DJ said, diet diet diet, get your peri workout nutrition sorted which will aid in your recovery, maximise growth and strength increases and still give you enough in the tank to complete your cardio.
