The one point i dont really agree with which is under the "Nutrition and Rest" section:
24-36lb increase in mass over 3 months.
Maybe if you between 18 and 23 - where your natural GH is at its peak.

Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...

I think its more geared towards beginners. But I think intermediate and advanced trainees can also gain from such a simple program but not as much as a beginner. Its similar to the 5x5 program. It has both the strength and hypertrophy component. In essence, lifting heavy plus eating a lot plus adequate rest = muscle growth. I believe most beginners should do similar routines to this, with strength as foundation. When they have mastered the big 3 and gained reasonable strength such as 1,5xbw bench, 2xbw squat and deadlift. They can move onto a more hypertrophy orientated lifting program. I want to try this program next year and see how it works for me.

What is your opinion on ''all out bulking''? Like you bulk until you reach quite high-ish bodyfat and not being worried about cutting down. I know a few big guys on t-nation are advocates of this. Bulking and not worrying about losing your six pack to get big and strong? For example I start bulking at 100kg @ 10% bf and end up 120kg @ 20%. I know its only like 6kg muscle gain vs 14kg fat. But Ive read if you really want to get huge, you shouldnt worry about fat gain.

I read an article....

If you grow fat you grow new fat cells, losing fat will decrease the size of these cells, but they are still there, logical but something I never thought of. So for that reason I will rather do what DJ said than just go all out bulking.

I can only see disadvantages in having more fat cells eager to grow

DJ. Do you recommend when bulking that most of your calories come from protein and fat? Similar to Dave Palumbo's bulking diet? Lets say maintanance calories are 3000, and you eat 3500 calories of protein and carbs compared to 3500 calories of protein and fat. Wont you gain the same amount of weight?

palumbo has a cookie cutter approach to bulking, each meal must have 50g of protein,30g carbs and 30g fats,or something similar,i dont believe other than for breakfast that protein and carbs and fats should all be consumed at once.carbs should be pre work out post work out and for breakfast, no you wont gain the same amount of weight you will hold much less water and gain leaner gains as you arent constantly spiking insulin all over the show with the carbs, your blood sugar levels will be constant and as 95% of the guys that follow my diets they see great improvement, less water retention and less fat gain. read this bro : www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/forum/dieting...on/56925-dieting-101
