Hi guys,
I have been approached by an old pro and he wants to train me for up and coming comp's down ur guys side of the wrold. The training program he wants me to go on is overly hectic:
Morning and afternoon splits, training all body parts twice a week. The sets are utter maddness in my eyes personally as i have been studying PT through HFPA . An example of legs work out:
15 sets of haunch squats (old man puts powder on the floor and if i dont leave a ass mark its not counted ) 5 sets of leg extension with a minimum of 30 reps and walking lunges for about 60 meters ( 6 sets) Calves are also included and he stands on the calve machine and i have to try do 20 reps. Personally i may be lazy but i did this and was on the verge of death. Please can u guys advise me if this is going to kill me as he also likes to include contra indicated movements and stretch's ...
thanks

You should see results inside of two weeks, when your body will react, maybe you are a second arnold, either way, then you can continue or quit. You are going to have to eat a lot though.
But it sounds like overtraining to me. My 2cents: nay

U are going to have to get alot of L-Glutamine,BCAA caps and powder. Get urself Whey and a casien protien and go to church every sunday.lol
But seriously, make sure u got ur stuff straight with the big man.

Its not that bad after u have gotn use to it. U will have to eat alot as Molten said.
U will see results fast and will stay lean. But mass will take a while. Comp ready u will be.

i have been on it for a week and its maybe just me bitching ... he looked at my diet and improved it so what in the way of amounts and all that. I will stock up on my supps and im sure it will get even better when i hit the gear again. Contra indicated movements are movements that have been scrutinised and " black labeled" some what cause they lead or might lead to injury. For example haunch squats are bad cause once the knee goes past the 90 degree point ( parrell to the ground ) the weight on ur knee ligaments is 7 times that of ur own body weight never mind what u squatting ... HFPA state that continued usage of the movements and stretchs will lead to injury but the trainer says and i quote when i asked him ... " they are all pussy's ." thanks for the input guys and when in doubt just shout LIGHT WEIGHT BABY !!!!!!!
