Shoulder was created by du Preez
Hi there

I have a dodgy shoulder, and every time I do flat or incline or decline d/bell it feels like my shoulder wants to pop out, man its so irratating. I started working out about a year ago, for 6 months then had knee surgery and now I am back in the gym doing a three day split, my knee is 100% and better than ever. I started off with light weigts on my shoulders and now I want to go a heavier but I am "scared" my shoulder will do the same thing it did last year. If there is advice, please...........

Thanks for a cool website...

Cheers;)

go and get some treatment and dont try and self diagnose the problem,go to your local chiro practer and get them to have a look at it,at the end of the day u might have a major problem in there so rather get it sorted sooner rather than later.

If you are based in Durban... Chat to Spike.
Or see if he knows anyone in YOUR area.

Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...

Typical rotator-cuff injury. It wont heal by itself - see a Chiro.

Been avoiding that for a while now, but I'll have to get it taken care of. Do chiro's prescribe meds or do they pop shit in back in place only?

If anyone can help its a Chiro. Go with whatever he recommends.

I had the same problem with rotator cuff. Before doing shoulders or chest I warm up with rotator cuff exercises. It has helped me tremendously. Here is the link to those exercises: www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/rotator-cuff-exercises.html

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

Quick question to the guys to go to a chiro. I go to one every six weeks for an alignment and a while back I asked her to look at my shoulder because it not lekker. So she put that electronic shock thing on me, it didn't seem to help. What should they actually do to treat this?

the physio stuck needles in me - i'm sure it will involve them. They work wonders.

The electro modalitites wont do much, can never understand guys that just use that. Dry needling works wonders with muscle and tendon issues...

We do way more then just put shit back deadgoat :) alot of chiro treatment involves treating the muscles surrounding the joints as well. At this point we cannot prescribe meds in this country, tho this is currently under review

Du preez, a Chiro is definately the person you need to speak to... Where about you located?

Um, but im scared of needles...
