Pain while doing barbell curls

When training biceps, everything is perfect - UNTIL i get to straight barbell curls.
When i get to around my second set, i start getting shooting pains in the area between my elbow and wrist (basically along the bottom of my forearm)? Its either only with my right arm, but sometimes when its both, its more intense with my right arm.
Does this happen to anyone here? Im super strict when it comes to form so i know im doing my curls right.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.
Peace...

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

This specific pain is not in a joint, it's the area between the elbow and the wrist. Spike will be able to give a good answer here.

When i had what he is describing it felt like i had an inflamed bar running from my elbow along the inside of forearm to my wrist which gave me shooting pains in my forearm, i didn't ask any professionals just a few PT's and the general consensus from them was that it was joint and tendon related as the swelling started at a point just underneath my elbow, for me the pain was also in the forearm not any joints really, probably should have said that, just my 2c :)spike will probably be able to give better insight than my ramblings haha.

It is the main reason i have big forearms now.
When you do curls remember to make the movement as smooth as possible - dont jerk at the bottom. Go lighter as you are going too heavy anyway - no two ways about that!
When you put the bar down release your grip slowly. It will help keep the pain spikes at bay.

i think i'm more relieved that im not the only one who's been going through this.
@ chapel - you described the feeling 100%
@ jackrabbit - i laughed to myself cos you're spot on too - i find that i have to actually put the bar down and release my grip REALLY slowly so that it doesnt hurt as bad!
@ spike - thanks for your professional opinion.
Guess ill have to leave the straight bar & substitute for ez & cable.
thanks guys.
