Orbitrek Elite VS Treadmill

I want to buy a new treadmill for home, but today I was told that the Orbitrek Elite is a far better option... I have no idea, because I've never used the Orbitrek Elite or a similar product before.
The Orbitrek Elite is R2999 where the treadmill is R9999, so it's worth investigating.

I would go withj teh teradmill but not a 10g`s...maybe another make, model?
Check what each item has in way of features, heart monitor pre programmed workouts etc..etc and compare the two based on what you want to use the piece of equipment for. I find the treadmill is wicked for HIT cardio workouts.
The Orbitrek units that tehy have at Virgin are rock solid and full of features but the one that you are looking at there looks pretty flimsy

That type of machine works well, the first time I used our gym's elliptical trainer (which we only got recently, the type that trains legs and arms) I got a stitch, even though I trained at the same intensity that I normally trained on with the old elliptical (without arm exercise things)...I would like your guy's opinion on the following:

But ja, maybe look at another brand of elliptical machine to compare against a treadmill, that Verimark stuff can/will and does break.
