Can you use it as part of a normal training routine, or should it only be used when on cycle when your recovery rate is faster? An inch is quite a lot for one month's training...

I would say do it off cycle as you don't want to get gains for just one bodypart on cycle-bit of a waste. And the extra recovery for the rest of your body will be good.
Don't think you'll gain an inch, but anything is welcome

hmmm, interesting... but i wouldnt use it entirely as directed, no good relaxing your other training for a month... and anyway, most people gain in their arms quicker than anywhere else...
So what good is an inch on your arms when the rest of the body gets left behind.
And i'd imagine if you devoted three days to any bodypart at the detriment of others you'd have to see growth in that area...

You're basically overtraining your arms and under training the rest of your body.
You might find you grow generally from the additional rest, most of us are overtrained to some degree. Also a sudden change in routine can throw the body and cause some new growth.
But if you try normal training over and above the excess arm trainiing, you'll overtrain badly-your entire body needs recuperation not just the muscle being trained.
I try to mix my training up a bit, but you often find yourself slipping into doing you're favourite exercises over and over and you will stagnate.

Which is true, but I think with enough rest and nutrition you might be able to last at least a month or so
