Branch Warren Leg Workout was created by HULKman
Warren recounts his most brutal training session: "I was 18, and we started out with leg extensions for four sets of 100 with some crazy amount of weight. After that, we went to the leg press, and we did drop sets--four sets of 25. That was brutal, but we got through that, and then we went to hack squats. We reversed the pyramid. We did one [45-pound] plate [on each side] for 10 reps. Next set, we did two plates for 20 reps. Then we did three plates for 30 reps. Then four for 40. I got to five plates [450 pounds] for 50 reps for the last set, and I could hardly do it. Both of my training partners were yelling at me to get through it, and I did, but after I racked the weight, I fell to the floor. I crawled, and I tried to stand, but I couldn't.

"That was the one time since I was a baby that I couldn't stand up. I didn't want to let my partners see me puke. We had this whole workout planned out ahead of time, but they'd already quit way before then. I kept choking down my puke, because I didn't want them to see me not make it. So I actually crawled up the stairs, literally pulling myself up the stairs with my hands. I got to this dirty nasty bathroom, with a floor you barely wanted to walk on, much less lay on. I crawled to the toilet, and I puked and puked until I was dry-heaving. I lay there for 45 minutes before I could stand up. I tried three or four times to stand, but my legs just kept giving out. That was the sorest I'd ever been in my life. Seven days later, when it came time to train legs again, my legs were still sore to the touch. I don't know how good that was for me, but we used to do insane stuff like that just to see if we could do it. I was the only one who could."

 Do you think this will be good or bad to try if you are bulking , sounds like overtraining to me ...

I don't know how good that was for me

Well, it might not have been too smart, but...
It might have contributed to his pretty awesome legs...
I think he got the idea from Tom Platz... :P

P.S. Looks like I'm on the right track...
I also feel like puking after doing legs ;)

Dream BIG, one Rep at a time.

Well if I don't puke after a leg workout, then I know I did not train hard enough. :X

Branch Warren's leg workout is "self-inflicted torture".Totally unnecessary to build nice legs, you could build solid legs with 25% of that strain on your legs during a workout. Its all about good nutrition and rest.

thought I would share last night's workout with you guys :)
brought up my pre workout meal shortly after the explode :X

started off warming up with leg extensions: 3 sets of 25/15/8
then went on to hack squats: 3 sets of 20/15/12 (added a plate every set and went down till my hamstrings touched my calves)
then I was on the leg press for 3 sets, again going all the way down till my calves touched my hammies: 20 reps for each set (this was brutal)
squats were next, again all the way down: 4 sets of 12/10/8/8
was super broken after this and could honestly not complete my lunges so went over to do sissy squats to failure super setted with leg extensions to failure also, following almost an FST method for 7 sets.

by far the most intense, hardcore session I have ever ever done!
the nausea I could handle but when my legs completely failed on me afterwards I knew it was a good session

Train harder than the guy next to you and one day, no-one will be able to touch you
