Lower Chest .... Its a battle ...

I need some advice on how to build my lower chest. I build very slow in that area.
As you all know, V.A clubs dont have decline benches, so i started doing dips.
Ive switched to more dumbell chest workouts and left the barbell aside as Ive read in other posts that it works better.
Is there anything else I can do?

If you really have to do decline go with your barbell to the ab excercise section. There is a long incline bench where leg lifts is done. Turn around with your head at the bottom and hook your feet in where you would usually hold onto with your hands. Get one or two guys to hand you the barbell (depending on how heavy you lift).
If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

A personal trainer at my gym showed me how to squeeze my pecs when doing chest excercises.
Start without weights, just take your hand and place it on your pec and do the excercise movements with the other arm...squeeze the pec and feel how the muscle flexes and moves when you do a specific movement. You should feel the upper, middle and lower chest flexing with the other hand when you do these different exercises and movements. When you get a feel for this try incorporate that into your exercises, it takes time to get used to but keep good form, focus on it and you will get it right.
Its made a huge difference to the way i train chest and im seeing results.
