My left bicept was visibly smaller than the left.

For a while I pushed a few more reps with the left and harder with the left.

I did this using dumbells , straight bar.

How do you push more reps with your left hand using a straight bar? :hmm

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

When bringing it up you can see which side is dropping more to the one side.

Simple push harder with that arm that is lacking .

I have the same problem, to add to this my right arm has less of a peak on the Bicep and the lower inner bicep tapers off when getting closer to my elbow fold....

Bad form in some way?

Prob, I have a friend who benches some heavy weight, but his 1 side of the chest is doing more work, I have to keep changing his form... only way to correct it was to drop weights by 50% and start doing correct form and building up strength again... very important to have proper form before it causses some issues like you got now.

Yeah, it sux, I've been watching it the last few months and its getting better... Just not sure what could have caused it, was thinking, could have been letting my elbow flick out on curls, but now that I'm looking for it I'm obviously doing the exercise perfectly :)

Its perfectly normal to have a muscle imbalance, every human being has it,1 side of your body is naturally stronger than the other. To try to even it out,use dumbells only,if its your left side that is weaker, start on your left, train that muscle to failure eg 12 reps, then do the same amount of reps on the strong side.

Yeah, thanks.... I've been doing more dumbells and watching form... The odd thing is I'm right handed and my right arm is stronger... even though its the one with the problem....

Its a theory but was thinking if not caused by bad form could be maybe because my left arm was weeker it reacted better to the training ?
