Cardio Sessions was created by milktuds
How many hours should your cardio sessions be apart from each other if you do 45 min cardio in the morning and then 20 - 30 min cardio sometime in the afternoon/evening after your weight workout?

Some people say 8 others say 12, so which is it?

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

Which ever doesn't impact your training to much. I try twelve hours apart but on a diet it can still get to me if I don't plan it well...

Sorry if I offend you
Its just my point of view

I suppose it differs for eveyone. What you do during the day will also impact the hours apart. If ur on your feet the whole day, you probably need 12 hours but if you're working in front of a computer etc you probably need about 8 hours. It also depends how long each cardio session is. I know that during prep seasons, women do two hours cardio split into two sessions which is pretty hectic but two half hour sessions is still bearable.

bud if u are doing 2 cardio sessions a day be sure u are eating enough calories, depending on the intensity of both your weight training and cardio sessions this may lead to over training,if i was u i would look at doing either the 45mins session moderate intestisty and no session after training or to do 2X20-25min session higher intensity sessions the first one of the day and then moderate intensity after work out, i have been through this over training through cardio,at the begining of the year i was trying to get as ripped as possible so i was doing cardio after work out in the morning at a high intensity level along with a high intenstiy work out with drop sets and super sets etc, and then 1 hour moderate intensity cardio in the afternoon, now that would've been great if i was on 3500calories but i dropped calories to 3000 on training days and 2700 on non training days where i would just do cardio and well dum dum dum dum i got every single sickness known to man including a stomach lining infection as well as tendonitis and i was suffering from over training.. just be careful, rather do 1 longer session or 2 shorter slightly more intense sessions...

I think I am gonna do 20 - 30 min moderate intensity post workout. I'll skip the morning cardio.

The morning cardio is the most important cardio if you want to get ripped.
That's because you have fasted all night long and by doing cardio in the morning before eating, you burn the most fat.
So to avoid overtraining and to get ripped, I would not skip the morning cardio, but rather the evening cardio.
And only eat an hour after you have done your cardio. This way you will burn more stored energy as your body uses the stored energy to regain glycogen levels.
