If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

Good day Good people,
I need some advice on a hamstring injury that I sustained exactly two weeks ago on the lying leg curl machine. It is a grade 1 fibre tear according to the sonar. I used Transact plasters for the first week and still take Dicoxflam. My question to you is how long should I not train legs and with which exercises should I start off with when I start legs again. It is very important to me to train legs as it is my weak spot.
Thanking you in advance for all the assistance.

Hey North_Boy1,
I also sustained a hamstring injury 2 weeks ago. I have been doing a ton of cardio as im prepping for provincials and i could feel that my legs were taking strain and not recovering properly...well on my 5th set of standing leg curls I felt a pull in my right ham. My wife is a physio so I had her assess it and it was also a grade 1 micro fibre tear. I basically had to rest it completely for 48 hrs before she could assess it properly and then had to give it 5 full days of rest...meaning no cardio or leg work. After day 5 was allowed to stretch and I started light cycling on the spinning bike and had no pain and then progressed to elliptical trainer and low intensity treadmill walking. After 10 days she said I could start training legs, but no direct hammy work, only squats and lunges. Most of my pain has gone except when in a stretched position which still feels quite tight. I will start training quads on saturday and see how the ham feels from then.
