thinking to join PF fourways

Hello guys, thinking to join PF in fourways, seems to be the best and closer to where I stay: Paulshof, keep in mind that I still getting lost in JHB( I am from Italy).
anyone is training there and want to welcome a new memeber????

the gym where i train is kak, and the virgin here is so fucking full at peak times,i whish i could build my own gym on top of my house!!!

I have my own gym as I don't want to drive to town every time. I once joined a small gym in town and broke half of their machines.

Good suppliment shop at the entrance...

My mate trains there sometimes , but it all depends on the traffic.

PF is to gyms what USN is to supplements and Nomad is to Steroids, dodgy as all hell.

I'm sure there is nothing wrong with their equipment but their sales/marketing/management is extremely shady.

A few years ago i received a scratch and win letter from them. It said i had won a membership. I knew it was BS, but i decided to check it out anyways.
The sales rep told me i had won an off-peak membership. There was no mention of that in their letter but i said fine i'll take it. He then said first i must pay a joining fee of like R1000. There was no mention of this in their letter, not even in small print. It was out right false advertising. It was obviously a scam.

PF is operating like Sharper Image did in the 90's, and we all know what happened to them. Even Health & Fitness was using these sales techniques, with their lifetime memberships and they also went bust.

If you live in Paulshof join the Virgin Active in Sunninghill.

virgin active is always choke full of show-offs busy doing cable cross-overs. and there's too many goddamn mirrors!!!!! what i need is a gym without any (1)mirrors, (2)chicks (3)stupid house music (4) stupid smiling staff

admin, how much did it cost to build yo gym and what did you buy?

I think the VA are good.

They do get full , just like every other gym.

Most people come on Mondays and Tues , and they normally train chest and arms.
On those days I do back or legs , to avoid waiting for anything.

Winter time is best time to train for me. Gym empty and heat down .

I only finish to work at 5.30 pm so just the time to get there, at about 6pm

Yeah, sorry man. I usually get there around 4:30.
But, maybe we will hook up for a training session together sometime.

MR SA but when do you work during the night, I am going mad, I thought we had traffic in Italy ,...JHB is an other planet!!!!sure one day we will organize a nice training session..

And people want to know why i hit work at 05:00!
Traffic shortens my day by 2 hours otherwise, never mind the stress over time.

he he he, no i am in sales, so, have "flexi-time".
the joys.
And then i dj from thurs night to sat night at a popular club in jhb.
So, in essence, i dont have much free time.

Thanks man, I will 2times, for training and for a good advice about where to go clubbing and have fun!!!
