I never said you were a skinny fat person. If you read what i said , it states that we want to avoid that at all costs. So thats why implement the HIIT training.

Never meant for it to be taken in a negative way. but each his own.

Excuse me mate, but welcome to the Internet. The fitness industry didn't coin that phrase, and if they do use of often it's because of the online fitness subculture. It's a description of a body type along with:
Hungry Skelton
Auschwitz mode
Otter mode
Athletic
Built
Built Fat
Bear mode

One last thing, in every vocation you need to keep up with new developments. A qualification is not exhaustive, there will be more being discovered. Look at the history of nutritional understanding, it's completely fucked up mate! Because the prats didn't appreciate the depth of the subject, they wrote books and made rules, just to be proven wrong. Hope you get my point, not saying your qualification is nul, just that perhaps you have someone deep rooted old theory.

Ciao.

What are the foods to completely avoid?
Currently I stay away from the following :
Bread (except cheat days)
Pasta
Rice
Flour
Maize

I have substituted these with coconut flour and occasionally potato starch. (for Home-made sauces or pizzas on cheat days)

I also eat the fat on meat, learning from the banting/paleo/primal diets that it's good for you. I used to only drink skim milk but for the same reasons now drink full cream milk with my protein shakes.

Preach! Dude on Keto you cut out all carbs. Even mielies and berries and peas and those things. Not even carrots, and No milk (carbs). You must read the label on everything to make sure there is little to no carbs.

Okay so the image above is just to quote our new friend, not sure if he get's the quote function. Mate you used the [EDIT] function, just type your text below the quoted text code.

Secondly, read my post again. I am really trying to be civil with my use of language. I did not assume you aren't keeping up with the latest developments, I said perhaps you still have some outdated theory ingrained.

BigLes, apologies on my behalf for the derailing. Just trying to steer fiction away from advice. We're all just wanting to give and receive factual advice.

Cheers.

Hi Les.
My Personal experience here. Leave and forget cheat meals and cheat days for under 15% closer to 10% Body Fat. Since I forgot about cheats my weight loss has been more consistent and no yo yo ing. On Keto you look at 4weeks to get in deep ketosis I am still in week one decided to go full Keto from last Sunday. Just rember to reintroduce carbs slowly after Keto and in small amounts. I am actually considering changing my life style so bulks will be Banting and my cuts on Keto.

It is on you. It always has been...
