Proportionate Shape was created by FIllet
Having this problem whereby my body is not proportionate as I would like it to be, main problem is my lats (Latissim Dorsi). I am in a bulking phase and will continue to do so until I reach the 130kg mark whereby I will begin some serious ripping cycle so ripping is not of primary concern to me right now. My lats grow faster then the rest of my body with the same amount of work done. What shall I do? Lighter weights? Higher reps? If the lats grow to quick I will end up looking like a water melon farmer, not cool. I already walk with my arms out as they rest on my lats.

Just focus on your lats every other week until the rest of your body catches up. Then do lighter weight lat exercises to maintain the proportionality with the rest of your body

Keep going! No such thing as lats that are too big. As long as youre training for thickness all round I cant see any harm.

Cheers JR, did not think they were to big but they are one of my bigger features compared to the rest of my body. Also next cycle is going to be pretty strong so there will be much growth again. Suppose I can pull off the blowfish look :cheer:

Its normally the other way round - okes lack back development most of all. A big back enables the rest to get big. No back - no chest.

Sure RVP, will do on monday from laptop, can't do from my BB.although I have posted pics before... Monday morning and I will show you what I don't like which is primarily the distance between my forearms and waist although JR's point still stands strong!

Just a reminder on the below, I am purely asking about proportion and I do not think I am big but merely suggesting that I think my lats grow quicker. Still bulking as well. Any solid advise appreciated and you are welcome to metion if I am being silly about this one and should continue to broaden those lats. Cheers

I honestly think that your back is proportional to the rest of your body. However I feel that your delts and triceps need a bit more work. I suggest you keep training your back the way you currently do as it seems to be working well for you...infact I would even work your back harder. There's still room for growth

I second that. Excellent frame to work from. Drop some BF and work on your shoulders and tri's and you will have awesome an awesome build
