Posterior delt flys
Front raises
Cables for posterior delt
Shrugs.
To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

I've always thought that rolling them doesn't really help as much as rows would... plus I wouldn't think the shoulder joint was meant to bear a load while rotating like that?
Yes... on the roll backwards you will be contracting some muscles in your upper back, but mechanically speaking the weight wouldn't be adding much resistance would it? Would it not be better to do straight up and down shrugs. Then do so rows and such to hit the other muscles?

I was told never to roll your shoulders when doing shrugs. The biokeneticist at my school nearly had a heart attack whenever he saw someone rolling their shoulders so probably not the best idea.

90% of the guys at my gym roll their shoulders. I don't know what memo they got but I cringe every time I see them doing it. Same story for leaning way far back at the top of deadlifts.
