Hi guys i have a question. I have flat feet and when i say flat i mean no arch at all! I have been getting a pain in my right knee lately and i feel its due to that. Is there maybe someone that can advise me on a correct pair of trainers?i just feel like i might be messing up my joints by training without the right trainers

I came i saw i conquered

I have flatties aswell, no joint issues though. You might want to go see a specialist, they can custom make you inners for shoes! That said i doubt this is the cause of your problem. Incorrect shoes will hurt the foot itself first.

For flat feet( have the same issue ) best thing to do is squat and dead lift barefoot or in vibrims or the new new balance shoes with vibrim soles... I have started squatting and dead lifting bare foot and this has helped with my feet and flat feet...but as prog says u need inners for your shoes, which a pedatrist will have to make for u.

Thanks guys! Ill check it out at a specialist but before that ill try the deadlift and squat without the shoes or with the nb vibrim soles. I do feel unbalanced when standing. Especially while squatting and deadlifting! Thanks guys! :silly:

Also try the Chuck Taylor route. The inner sole is flat and remains stable, expecially during squats and deadlifts. Added benefit is that cos its a boot, it provides some support to your ankle.

Been training with the same pair for the past 6 or 7 years and haven't looked back!

Superga's are the best all round party, gym, hiking, evading arrest shoe.

Love the buuuuuuuuuuuuuurn!

I'd rather die standing than live a life on my knees.
