Stinging and Tingles in my Biceps was created by Headhunter12
Sup guys... Long time no talk! Lol
To get to my point... I've gotten alot stronger throughout my body, and my biceps start to tingle and sting towards the end of my back/bi routine. I have noticed I do a lot of isolation movements on biceps! Plus on all back routines I use a underhand grip that promotes a nice bicep pump... My question is when I feel the tingles and stings should I push through or call it a night... I don't want to tear or hurt anything is what I'm getting at!!!

I feel it only on biceps in the "concentric phase" and when I do a good squeeze at the top!!!

Usually a tingling sensation is indicative of a nerve problem isn't it?

On my biceps... Not back!! Like I said my biceps get a lot more work now that I use a under hand grip on everything to do with back! It doesn't hurt... Just a lil tingle and sting sensation when I squeeze!

Are you on any cycle?

Because if you're a natural, no training session should last that long, regardless whether or not you have a training partner

No cycle... They usually don't. We just talked a lot that day and didn't have much intensity!! So u think when I feel those sensations I should call it a night!? "I only feel these sensations when I have a REALLY good bicep pump, usually on my last few sets!

Not much? More like barely any. MUCH less talking, more training.

Well, I can't see how a tingling sensation is a good thing. What does your workout look like?

Reps?

Also, what's your technique like? Be brutally honest now, if you're doing dumbbell curls but your calves and deltoids are involved, now's the time to come clean

To be straight up honest... Near perfect... I'm the guy in my small circle critiquing use... I can't stand for someone to use improper form... I believe in controlling the weight... Not letting the weight control you... I can't remember who said it but it's "A-1" advice...

Well, to be honest, as I've said earlier, tingling is indicative of a nerve problem, maybe somehow you're pinching a nerve? When I was at my heaviest, after back workouts sometimes my arms would tingle as, I dunno if it was my lats or something, but if my arms were positioned incorrectly I'd pinch a nerve or something (hard to explain, very hard without sounding windgat). What I'm trying to say is, maybe the swelling from the pump, is somehow pinching a nerve? Maybe I am completely wrong, but that's my guess here. And if it's not that, maybe you're just stretching a nerve (like one would feel if one has a tennis elbow injury)

Is it a bad tingling or just slightly? If it gets bad, maybe see a doctor? I'm no expert, so I'd say that's your wisest bet.

The tingle and stings don't hurt but enough to where I feel it! The other day... I went super heavy and didn't feel it... I dunno man, maybe just a lot of blood in my biceps... Or something

I use to get these stings too, even on the first set sometimes! They tend to come and go through my Bi workouts!

Only those who risk going to far can possibly find out how far they can go.

Work on your form. Bi's arent supposed to get such a serious workout while doing back.
