Any tips on growing your lower chest?

Ive noticed my chest growing on cycle, but It doesnt make a boob(if you catch my drift). It only gets wider and stronger, but it doesnt grow forward??

Any help please guys!!

I do dumbell press decline, incline bench, flat bench and then dips/flyes/cables. Mostly dips cos its the best! :P

No pain, no gain-corny but true.

Declines.

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

CHAPEL, do you think I should incorporate decline movements only?

You can try decline! Some of us (like me) jsut don't have great chest genetics. The only thing you can try is decline or hit chest twice a week in the following way:

Mon - chest

Flat bench w/barbell
Incline dumbbells
Bitch flyes (the machine where elbows are 90 degrees)

Fri - chest

Flat bench w/dumbbells
Decline bench w/barbell
Cable crossovers

Include some well controlled, slow dips. i think it helps increase the thickness of your chest.

If it doesn't work, then just accept that your chest genetics aren't as good as Ronnie Coleman's and be happy with the body parts that are blessed with good genetics.

Low body fat % will obviously also make your chest look much better!

If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you

Bud, I am going to go the opposite route here!!
I NEVER do ANY decline, as dips and weighted dips does just that. You need chest VOLUME / MASS. The only way to get this is with incline chest work. If you build the upper chest enough (and be patient) it will give your chest that full / bulky look. It is incline that builds overall chest and gives you that great muscle separation and good lines.
IMO decline, once you have MASS, is good for shaping.
Heavy ass incline DB presses, good stretch, good form, don't rush it, don't bounce.

Shut up and Squat!!

Slabbie, IMO add dips where you lean forward, places shifts emphasis from tri's to lower pecks. Also if strength is increasing drastically without size, try changing your rep ranges.

Well not according to DY....

Too many things can go wrong with dips. I use them as part of a superset and with bodyweight only to fatigue the chest past the stage i get from the decline.

I find BB decline bench press the most effective chest exercise IMO and it works the entire chest according to DY

I believe that everything grows in proportion so i try and hit chest from incline, decline and flat. Have had good chest development since i started training like this.
