Different Fats the Body Uses was created by Headhunter12
I was recently watching an episode of TMW on fats around the mid section!
They were talking about two kinds of fats... No I'm not talking mono/poly fats...
Can't remember exactly what they are called I think they said, b1's and b2's or something! They said they have a problem losing weight around the lower mid section, and the body uses easier fats from shoulders, back arms legs first and the stomach has a harder fat! That's why it's usually left last!
What I'm getting at is, they said they can use like a "gurtle" while doing cardio, or how ever u spell it! Thus making the stomach sweat!! They said the stomach is always cold and never sweats therefor loses weight... Yea u can diet but I am currently dieting and have a little lower fat under my belly button above my belt line!

Anyone ever used or heard of this?

Intermediate Fasting is a whole other topic but I've heard it really great at fat lose also...

Beta-1 receptors act on the heart and lungs, beta-2 on muscle and fat, beta-3 on brown fat. Activation causes the process to get excited and work faster, end result will aid fat burning. Apha-2 receptors work almost inverse to beta-2 on the same tissues. When they get excited, they stop the tissue getting excited. Depending on concentration of these receptors, some fat can be thought to be more "stubborn" than others. Like guys will tend to have this "stubborn" fat on their abs and lower back and chicks on their triceps and lower body. Research says chicks have more alpha-2 than beta-2s in their butts and lower body. I take it the same goes for guys abs and lower back.

We say it's all about isolation on muscle right!? Why can't the same approach be used on stubborn fat!?!?!

Spot reduction on the waist? Sounds a bit like bro-science. There is only so much blood flow to the stubborn fat, so adrenaline and non-adrenaline reach there difficulty, if this belt thing increases blood flow and heat, possibly... possibly... But what's stopping it from affecting visceral fat as well in that area?

Spot on Furk. Spot reduction is a myth and those dodgy sweat belts don't burn fat. Stubborn fat is generally because of high alpha 2 receptor density and these stubborn areas usually will have less blood flow than others.

Poor blood flow makes it harder to mobilise fat from these fatty deposits and also makes beta agonists like clen and ephedrine work slower on these areas.

You sweat less in stubborn fat areas because decreased blood flow prevents you from getting as hot there.

Right on bro! But I was just wondering if u can target stubborn areas and
Make them hot and sweaty to eliminate them... Guess not! :( lol

Might try this "I.F." thing a try.. With a 5 hr eating window... Eat from 1pm to 5pm and go to bed starving... Do cardio first thing when I wake up!

What happens if I don't meet my macros for the day?

How long of a period should u fast? Until your satisfied?

You fast for 16 hours (including sleep) and have an 8 hour window in which you can get your food in.
